Abstract

편평 코어에 의한 소형 편평 용기용 프리폼의 두께 가감의 한계를, 스텝 아웃 형성한 두꺼운 몸통부의 외측의 두께 감소시키는 성형에 의해 해결한다. 내경이 둥근 원으로 작게 제한된 소형 편평 용기용의 프리폼(1)이다. 네크부(11)와 몸체부(12) 경계로부터 몸체부(12)를 네크부보다도 대경으로 스텝 아웃 성형한다. 스텝 아웃의 하측에서 몸체부 외측을 타원형 등으로 두께를 감소시켜 형성하여, 몸체부(12)의 전후면측(12a)과 좌우면측(12b)과의 두께에 차를 갖게 한다. 스텝 아웃부(14)를 네크부 하측에 원판형상으로 설치한다.

Description

소형 편평 용기용 프리폼 및 소형 편평 용기{PREFORM FOR SMALL FLAT CONTAINER AND SMALL FLAT CONTAINER}
사출 성형한 프리폼을 연신 또는 연신 없이 블로우 성형하여, 몸통부가 얇은 두께의 편평 용기를 제조하는 경우에는, 프리폼의 몸통부의 전후면측과 좌우면측의 두께를 가감하여, 그것에 의하여 몸통부의 열용량에 차이를 갖게 하고 있다. 이 두께의 가감에는 몸통부 외측을 타원형이나 평행면 등으로 형성하거나, 혹 사출 코어에 편평 코어를 채용하여, 몸통부의 내측 대향면을 평행면으로 형성하는 등으로 하여 행하여지지만, 두께 설정의 용이성 때문에, 대부분은 편평 코어에 의해 몸통부 두께의 가감을 행하고 있다.
그렇지만, 안약, 화장품 등의 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기에서는, 프리폼의 내경도 작게 제한되기 때문에, 거기에 채용되는 사출 코어도 필연적으로 소경의 것으로 되어, 그러한 사출 코어의 양 측면을 편평하게 형성하는 것은, 내부에 냉각로가 2중으로 형성되어 있으므로 매우 어렵고, 이 때문에 편평 코어에 의해 프리폼의 몸통부 두께를 가감하여 제조할 수 있는 소형 편평 용기에는 한계가 있었다.
본 발명은, 상기 사정으로부터 생각된 것으로서, 그 목적은, 편평 코어에 의한 두께 가감의 한계를, 스텝 업(step up) 성형한 몸통부의 외측 두께를 감소시켜 얇게 성형하여, 편평 성형에 불가결한 두께차(열용량차)를 갖게 하는 것에 의해 해결할 수 있고, 또한 블로우 성형에 의한 몸통부의 편평화에 있어서도 불균일한 두께가 발생하지 않아, 얇은 두께로 두께 분포가 정렬된 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기를 제조할 수 있는 새로운 프리폼과, 그 프리폼에 의해 제조된 소형 편평 용기를 제공하는 데에 있다.
본 발명은, 안약이나 화장품 등의 소형 편평 용기의 제조시 사출 성형된 프리폼과, 그 프리폼으로부터 제조된 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기에 관한 것이다.
도 1a는 본 발명에 따른 소형 편평 용기용 프리폼의 정면도이고, 도 1b는 X-X선 단면도이다.
도 2a는 본 발명에 따른 소형 편평 용기의 정면도이고 도 2b는 평면도이다.
도 3은 블로우 금형을 쇄선으로 도시한 프리폼의 종단측면도이다.
도 4는 블로우 금형을 쇄선으로 도시한 프리폼의 종단정면도이다.
상기 목적에 의한 본 발명의 소형 편평 용기용 프리폼은, 내경이 둥근 원으로 작게 제한된 소형 편평 용기용의 프리폼으로서, 네크(neck)부와 몸통부의 경계로부터 몸통부를 네크부 보다도 대경으로 스텝 아웃 형성하고, 그 스텝 아웃의 하측으로부터 몸통부 외측을 타원형 등으로 두께 감소시켜 형성하여, 몸통부의 전후면측과 좌우면측과의 두께에 차이를 갖게 하는 동시에, 스텝 아웃부를 네크부 하측에 원판형상으로 설치하여 이루어지는 것이다.
또한 본 발명의 소형 편평 용기는, 상기 소형 편평 용기용 프리폼을 블로우 성형하여 제조된 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기로서, 네크부 하측에 원판형상의 스텝 아웃부를 갖고, 그 스텝 아웃부의 하측 테두리에 연속하여 몸통부를 얇게 편평 형성하여 이루어지는 것이다.
도 1a 및 도 1b는, 본 발명의 소형 편평 용기용 프리폼의 1 실시형태를 도시한 것으로, 프리폼(1)은 통상 용기의 프리폼과 같이, 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(PET) 등의 폴리에스테르 수지, 폴리프로필렌(PP), 폴리카보네이트(PC), 폴리에틸렌(PE) 등에 의해, 네크부(11)와 몸통부(12)를 사출 성형에 의해 일체 성형한 바닥을 갖는 것으로 이루어진다.
이 프리폼(1)은, 전체의 높이가 30 mm로서, 그 높이의 약1/3을 차지하는 네크부(11)의 나사산(11a)을 포함하는 외경은 8.8 mm, 내경은 사출 코어의 압출 구배각의 설정을 위해서, 네크부(11)의 개구로부터 바닥부(13)를 향해 약간 직경 축소되어 있지만 둥근 원으로, 그 지름은 개구에서 4.5 mm로 작게 제한된 것으로 이루어진다.
또 몸통부(12)는, 네크부(11)와의 경계로부터 네크부(11)보다도 대경(14.2 mm)으로 스텝 아웃하여 두껍게 형성되고, 그 스텝 아웃의 하측으로부터 몸통부(12)의 외측을 타원형으로 감소하여 형성하고, 둥근 원의 안쪽과의 관련에 의해 몸통부(12)의 전후면측(12a)을 두께(2.6 mm)로, 좌우면측(12b)을 서서히 얇은 두께(2.0 mm)로 형성하고 있다. 또 몸통부 외측의 두께 감소에 의해 네크부(11)하측에 스텝 아웃부(14)가 원판형상으로 설치되어 있다.
이러한 프리폼(1)에서는, 스텝 아웃에 의해 몸통부(12)의 두께를 자유롭게 설정할 수 있고, 그 설정시의 두께를 몸통부의 최대 두께로 하여, 몸통부 외측을 타원형 또는 도면은 생략하지만 평행면으로 형성하는 것으로, 전후면측(12a)과 좌우면측(12b)과의 두께에 차이를 갖게 할 수 있기 때문에, 몸통부(12)의 두께 가감이 네크부(11)의 투영면 내에 제한되지 않고, 네크부(11)의 외경을 상회하는 범위에서 두께 설정이 가능해지기 때문에, 내경이 작게 제한된 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기라도 용이하게 성형할 수가 있다.
도 2a 및 도 2b는, 상기 프리폼(1)으로 제조된 안약용의 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기로서, 이 소형 편평 용기(2)는, 나사산(21a)을 바깥 주위에 갖는 네크부(21)와, 그 네크부(21)의 아래쪽에 일체 성형한 원판형상의 스텝 아웃부(24)와, 그 스텝 아웃부(24)의 하측 테두리로부터 전후면측(22a) 및 바닥부(23)를 평탄면으로, 좌우면측(22b)을 원호형상으로 연신 블로우하여 편평하게 형성한 얇은 두께의 몸통부(22)로 이루어진다.
이러한 소형 편평 용기(2)는, 사출 성형후의 고열 이형(離型)에 의해 스텝 아웃부(14)로부터 몸통부(12)가 가열된 상태에 있는 상기 프리폼(1)을, 블로우 금형(3)의 편평 공동(4)으로 하여, 도면에서는 생략하지만, 통상 용기의 연신 블로우 성형과 같이 네크부(11)를 유지하여, 몸통부(12)를 연신 로드와 에어 블로우에 의해, 편평 공동에 가득 연신 블로우하는 것으로 용이하게 성형할 수가 있다.
이 때, 프리폼(1)은, 도 3에 도시하는 바와 같이, 두껍게 형성된 몸통부(12)의 전후면측(12a, 12a)이, 편평 공동(4)의 폭이 좁은 쪽의 형 면을 향해 위치하도록 설정하고, 이것에 의해 얇은 좌우면측(12b, 12b)을, 도 4에 도시하는 바와 같이, 폭이 넓음쪽의 형 면을 향하게 하는 것이 바람직하다. 이것은 팽창 배율의 차이로부터 전후면측(12a, 12a)이 먼저 형 면에 접하여 냉각되더라도, 두꺼운 전후면측(12a, 12a) 쪽이 열용량이 크고, 형 면에 접한 후에도 충분한 열량이 확보되어 좌우방향으로도 연신하기 때문에, 이것에 의해 얇은 좌우면측(12b, 12b)의 연신도 저항 없이 행하여져, 몸통부 전체가 균일 얇은 두께의 편평 몸통부에 성형되기 때문이다.
또한 몸통부(12)는, 네크부(11)와의 경계에 형성한 원판형상의 스텝 아웃부(14)에 의해서 충분한 열량이 확보되므로, 그 하측 테두리로부터 주위에 균등하게 확장된다. 종래의 소형 편평 용기에서는, 몸통부(12)를 네크부(11)와의 경계로부터 직접 연신 팽창하고 있기 때문에, 그 경계가 곡면으로 형성되어 아래쪽이 길어지기 쉽고, 이 때문에 네크부(21)와 몸통부(22)와의 경계를 뚜렷하게 형성하는 것이 곤란했지만, 본 발명에 의한 소형 편평 용기(2)에서는, 도 2에 도시하는 바와 같이, 네크부(21)의 직립이 원형면의 스텝 아웃부(24)에서 이루어져 형상이 정리되고, 또 어깨부의 마무리 상태도 양호한 북 형상의 소형 편평 용기(2)로 된다.
이상과 같이, 본 발명은, 상기 사정으로부터 생각된 것으로, 그 목적은, 편평 코어에 의한 두께 가감의 한계를, 스텝 업 성형한 몸통부의 외측 두께를 감소하여 성형하고, 편평 성형에 불가결한 두께 차이(열 용량차)를 갖는 것에 의해 해결할 수 있고, 또한 블로우 성형에 의한 몸통부의 편평화에 있어서도 불균일한 두께가 발생하지 않고, 얇은 두께로 두께 분포가 균일한 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기를 제조할 수 있는 새로운 프리폼과, 그 프리폼에 의해 제조된 소형 편평 용기를 제공하는 데에 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 내경이 둥근 원으로 작게 제한된 소형 편평 용기용의 프리폼으로서, 네크부와 몸통부의 경계로부터 몸통부를 네크부 보다도 대경으로 스텝 아웃(step out) 형성하고, 그 스텝 아웃의 하측으로부터 몸통부 외측을 타원형 등으로 두께 감소시켜 형성하여, 몸통부의 전후면측과 좌우면측의 두께에 차이를 갖게 하는 동시에, 스텝 아웃부를 네크부 하측에 원판형상으로 설치하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 소형 편평 용기용 프리폼.
  2. 제1항 기재의 소형 편평 용기용 프리폼을 블로우 성형하여 제조된 미세 개구의 소형 편평 용기로서, 네크부 하측에 원판형상의 스텝 아웃부를 갖고, 그 스텝 아웃부의 하측 테두리에 연속하여 몸통부를 얇게 편평 형성하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 소형 편평 용기.
