Claims (17)
- 로우라인들과 컬럼라인들의 교차부에 매트릭스 형태로 배열된 다수의 화소들과,상기 다수의 화소들에 소정의 에이징 교류전압펄스를 인가하기 위한 적어도 하나 이상의 에이징 교류전압원을 포함하는 스위칭수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소들 각각은,상기 컬럼라인들과 로우라인들 사이의 화소영역에 형성된 전계발광셀과,상기 컬럼라인들과 로우라인들 교차부에 형성되어 스위칭 역할을 하는 제1 스위치 소자와,셀구동전압원과 상기 전계발광셀 사이에 형성되어 상기 전계발광셀을 구동하기 위한 제2 스위치 소자와,상기 제1 및 제2 스위치 소자 사이에 접속된 캐패시터를 구비하며;상기 전계발광셀의 음극단은 0V 이상의 셀지지전압원과 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 스위칭수단은,0V와 소정의 각각 다른 부극성 전압 사이에서 스위칭 되는 제1 및 제2 에이징 교류전압원과,상기 제1 에이징 교류전압원과 제1 스위치소자의 게이트단자 사이에 접속된 제1 에이징 스위치 소자와,상기 제2 에이징 교류전압원과 제1 스위치소자의 소스단자 사이에 접속된 제2 에이징 스위치 소자와,상기 제1 및 제2 에이징 스위치 소자를 턴-온 시키기 위한 제3 에이징 교류전압원을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 셀구동전압원과 셀지지전압원 사이의 공급전압차는 -15V인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 셀구동전압원의 공급전압은 -5V이고,상기 셀지지전압원의 공급전압은 +10V인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제1 내지 제3 에이징 교류전압원은 교류 전압펄스형태로 인가되며,셀구동전압원> 제2 에이징 교류전압원> 제1 에이징 교류전압원> 제3 에이징 교류전압원의 공급전압 대소관계를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 제2 에이징 교류전압은 -10V이며,상기 제1 에이징 교류전압은 -15V이고,상기 제3 에이징 교류전압은 -20V인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소들 각각은,상기 컬럼라인들과 로우라인들 사이의 화소영역에 형성된 전계발광셀과,셀구동전압원과 상기 전계발광셀 사이에 형성되어 전계발광셀을 구동하기 위한 제1 스위치 소자와,상기 제1 스위치 소자와 전류미러를 형성하도록 셀구동전압원에 접속된 제2 스위치 소자와,상기 제2 스위치 소자, 컬럼라인 및 로우라인에 접속되어 상기 로우라인 상의 신호에 응답되는 제3 스위치 소자와,상기 제1 및 제2 스위치 소자의 게이트단자와 상기 제3 스위치 소자 사이에 접속되어 상기 로우라인 상의 신호에 응답되는 제4 스위치 소자와,상기 셀구동전압원과 상기 제1 및 제2 스위치 소자의 게이트단자 사이에 접속된 캐패시터를 구비하며,상기 전계발광셀의 음극단은 0V 이상의 셀지지전압원에 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 스위칭 수단은,0V와 소정의 각각 다른 부극성 전압 사이에서 스위칭 되는 제1 및 제2 에이징 교류전압원과,상기 제1 에이징 교류전압원과 제3 스위치 소자의 게이트단자 사이에 접속된 제1 에이징 스위치 소자와,상기 제1 에이징 교류전압원과 제4 스위치 소자의 게이트단자 사이에 접속된 제2 에이징 스위치 소자와,상기 제2 에이징 교류전압원과 제3 스위치 소자의 소스단자 사이에 접속된 제3 에이징 스위치 소자와,상기 제1 내지 제3 에이징 스위치 소자를 동시에 턴-온 시키기 위한 제3 에이징 교류전압원을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 셀구동전압원과 셀지지전압원 사이의 공급전압차는 -15V인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 셀구동전압원의 공급전압은 -5V이고,상기 셀지지전압원의 공급전압은 +10V인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로.

- 유기전계발광소자의 화소들 소정의 에이징 전압을 인가하여 에이징하는 방법에 있어서,상기 화소들에 교류 전압펄스로 인가되는 다수의 에이징 교류 전압을 인가하는 단계와,상기 에이징 교류전압에 의해 형성된 전류 패스에 대응되는 크기로 상기 화소 내 전계발광셀을 발광시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자의 구동방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 전계발광셀의 발광은 상기 전류 패스에 대응한 셀구동전압원과 셀지지전압원 사이의 전압차에 의한 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자의 구동방법.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,상기 셀지지전압원은 0V 이상의 정극성 전압을 인가하고,상기 셀구동전압원 부극성 전압을 인가하며;상기 셀지지전압원과 15V의 공급전압차이를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로의 구동방법.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 에이징 교류전압원은 상기 셀구동전압원보다 낮은 전압을 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광소자용 에이징 회로의 구동방법.
