Claims (14)
- 양극 및 음극 사이에 발광층을 포함하는 유기 박막층을 구비하며, 이 유기 박막층에서의 한층이 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물 및 하기 화학식 2로 표시되는 카르바졸 유도체를 함유하는 유기 EL 소자.<화학식 1>식 중, R1내지 R4는 서로 동일하거나 또는 상이할 수 있으며 수소 원자 또는 치환기를 나타낸다.<화학식 2>식 중, Ar은 다가의 방향족기 또는 복소환식 방향족기를 나타내고, R1및 R2는 서로 동일하거나 또는 상이할 수 있으며 수소 원자 또는 치환기를 나타내고, n은 정수를 나타낸다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 발광층이 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,3,6,8 -테트라페닐피렌 화합물과, 화학식 2로 표시되는 카르바졸 유도체를 함유하는 유기 EL 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 화학식 1에서의 치환기가 치환기를 더 가질 수도 있는 알킬기, 시클로알킬기 또는 아릴기이고, 화학식 2에서의 치환기가 할로겐 원자, 또는 치환기를 더 가질 수도 있는 알킬기, 알킬술포닐기, 아랄킬기, 알케닐기, 수산기, 시아노기, 아미노기, 아미드기, 아실기, 카르복실기, 알콕실기, 알콕시카르보닐기, 아릴기, 아릴옥시기, 방향족 탄화수소기 또는 방향족 복소환기인 유기 EL 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 화학식 2로 표시되는 카르바졸 유도체가 하기 화학식 3으로 표시되는 4,4'-비스(9-카르바졸릴)-비페닐(CBP) 또는 그의 유도체인 유기 EL 소자.<화학식 3>
- 제1항에 있어서, 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물을 함유하는 층에서의 상기 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물의 함유량이 0.1 내지 50 질량%인 유기 EL 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물을 함유하는 층에서의 상기 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물의 함유량이 5 내지 30 질량%인 유기 EL 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물을 함유하는 층과 음극 사이에 정공 블록킹층을 구비하는 유기 EL 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 유기 EL 소자에서의 정공 블록킹층이 하기 화학식 7로 표시되는 2,9-디메틸-4,7-디페닐-1,10-페난트롤린(바소큐프로인; BCP)을 함유하여 이루어지는 유기 EL 소자.<화학식 7>
- 제1항에 있어서, EL 발광의 CIE색 좌표가 y<0.12인 유기 EL 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 발광층의 두께가 5 내지 50 nm인 유기 EL 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 청색 발광용인 유기 EL 소자.
- 양극 및 음극 사이에 발광층을 포함하는 유기 박막층을 구비하며, 이 유기 박막층에서의 한층이 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물과, 화학식 2로 표시되는 카르바졸 유도체를 함유하는 유기 EL 소자를 사용한 유기 EL 디스플레이.
- 제12항에 있어서, 청색 발색용 유기 EL 소자, 녹색 발색용 유기 EL 소자 및 적색 발색용 유기 EL 소자를 구비하며, 이 청색 발색용 유기 EL 소자, 녹색 발색용 유기 EL 소자 및 적색 발색용 유기 EL 소자가 동일한 정공 주입층 및 정공 수송층 중 하나 이상을 공유하여 이루어지며, 이 청색 발색용 유기 EL 소자가 양극 및 음극 사이에 발광층을 포함하는 유기 박막층을 구비하고, 이 유기 박막층에서의 한층이 화학식 1로 표시되는 1,3,6,8-테트라페닐피렌 화합물과, 화학식 2로 표시되는 카르바졸 유도체를 함유하는 유기 EL 디스플레이.
- 제12항에 있어서, 패시브 매트릭스 패널 및 액티브 매트릭스 패널 중 어느 하나인 유기 EL 디스플레이.
