Claims (4)
- 두께가 상대적으로 큰 제1영역과 두께가 상대적으로 작은 제2영역으로 구분된 게이트 라인과, 화소전극부로 각각 정의된 기판을 제공하는 단계;상기 기판상의 제1영역, 제2영역 및 화소전극부에 더미 1차 화소전극층과 1차 게이트 메탈층을 순차적으로 형성하는 단계;상기 제1영역과 화소전극부상에 형성된 1차 게이트 메탈층상에 제1감광막 패턴을 형성하고 이를 마스크로 하여 상기 1차 게이트 메탈층과 더미 1차 화소전극층을 일정 패턴으로 식각하고, 이와 병행하여 상기 제2영역의 1차 게이트 메탈층과 더미 1차 화소전극층을 식각하여 제거하는 단계;상기 패턴화된 더미 1차 화소전극층 및 1차 게이트 메탈층을 포함한 기판상에 2차 게이트 메탈층을 형성하는 단계; 및상기 제 1영역과 제 2영역상에 형성된 2차 게이트 메탈층상에 제2감광막 패턴을 형성하고 이를 마스크로 하여 상기 2차 게이트 메탈층을 선택적으로 식각하고, 이와 병행하여 상기 화소전극부의 2차 게이트 메탈층과 더미 1차 화소전극층을 식각하여 제거하는 단계를 포함하여 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 1차 게이트 메탈층과 2차 게이트 메탈층은 동일한 재료로 사용하거나,또는 상이한 재료로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 1차 게이트 메탈층은 MoW, Al, Mo, Cr 또는 이들의 합금에서 선택하여 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 2차 게이트 메탈층은 MoW, Al, Mo, Cr 또는 이들의 합금에서 선택하여 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
