Abstract
Description
Claims (8)
- 서로 대향하는 면에 각각 배향막이 마련된 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 액정이 유지되어 이루어지고, 복수의 주사선과, 복수의 데이터선과, 이들 주사선 및 데이터선에 의해 구획된 화소 영역마다 마련된 스위칭 소자 및 화소 전극을 갖는 액정 장치로서, 상기 배향막에 의한 프리틸트각(pretilt angle)이 20° 이상 30° 이하로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 배향막이 산화 실리콘 또는 질화 실리콘으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 유지된 액정층의 두께를 d로 하고, 상기 화소 전극끼리의 간극을 L로 했을 때에, d/L≥1로 되는 관계를 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극이 광 반사성의 금속 전극인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 청구항 1 내지 4 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 장치를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 표시 장치.
- 광원과, 상기 광원으로부터의 광을 변조하는 광 변조 장치와, 상기 광 변조 장치에 의해 변조된 광을 투사하는 투사 렌즈를 구비하되, 상기 광 변조 장치로는 청구항 1 내지 4 중 어느 하나에 기재된 액정 장치가 이용된 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 표시 장치.
- 광원과, 상기 광원으로부터의 광을 변조하는 광 변조 장치와, 상기 광 변조 장치에 의해 변조된 광을 투사하는 투사 렌즈를 구비하되, 상기 광 변조 장치로는 청구항 1 내지 4 중 어느 하나에 기재된 액정 장치가 청색계의 표시부에 이용된 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 표시 장치.
- 청구항 1 내지 4 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 장치를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전자기기.
