Claims (9)
- 컴퓨터 네트위트를 경유하여 모니터링 시스템에 연결된 네트워크 장치를 위한 장해 통지 방법에 있어서,상기 네트워크 장치가 동작될 때 이 네트워크 장치의 비동작 상태를 알리는 네트워크 메시지를 구성하는 단계와;상기 네트워크 메시지를 저장하는 단계와;상기 네트워크 장치의 비동작 상태를 검출하는 단계와;상기 모니터링 시스템으로 네트워크 메시지를 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 네트워크 메시지 구성 단계는 네트워크 장치의 식별을 메시지에 포함시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 네트워크 메시지 구성 단계는 네트워크 장치의 고장 모드를 메시지에 포함시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 네크워크 메시지를 리세트될 때까지 연속적으로 전송하는 단계와, 상기 네트워크 메시지를 수분의 듀티 사이클로 전송하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 네트위크 메시지를 기본 입/출력 시스템 메모리에 저장하는 단계와, 운영체제가 적합하게 부트되는 것을 실패하였을 경우 모니터링 시스템으로 전송하기 위하여 전송 시스템에 네트워크 메시지를 적재시키도록 상기 기본 입/출력 시스템이 중앙 프로세서에 명령하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 운영체제 및/혹은 기본 입출력 시스템에 의해 달리 명령이 인가되지 않았을 때 네트워크 장치의 전원-증가를 검출한 후 기설된 시간에 네트워크 메시지를 전송하는 단계와, 중앙 처리 장치가 셀프 테스트 시퀀스중의 고장을 검출한 것에 응답하여 새로운 네트워크 메시지를 구성하고 그 새로운 네트워크 메시지를 전송하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 네트워크 장치의 전송 시스템에 네트워크 메시지를 적재하는 보조 프로세서로서 네트워크 메시지를 구성하는 단계와, 상기 보조 프로세서가 저속 버스를 경유하여 전송 시스템으로 네트워크 메시지를 전송하는 단계와, 운영체제에 의해 달리 명령이 인가되지 않았을 때 상기 보조 프로세서가 네트워크 장치의 전원-증가를 검출한 후 기설정된 시간에 네트워크 메시지를 전송하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 방법.
- 중앙 처리 장치를 구비한 네트워크 장치용 장해 통지 시스템에 있어서,상기 중앙 처리 장치는운영체제의 비동작 상태를 알리기 위한 네트워크 메시지를 구성하는 네트워크 장치의 중앙 처리 장치에서 실행되는 운영체제와;네트워크 메시지를 유지하는 비휘발성 메모리와;상기 운영체제의 비동작 상태에 응답하여 모니터링 시스템으로 네트워크 메시지를 전송하는 전송 시스템을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서, 네트워크 장치의 전원-증가에 응답하여 실행되는 타이밍 시스템을 추가로 포함하고, 상기 전송 시스템은 상기 전원-증가에 응답하여 전송 시스템의 전송 버퍼로 네트워크 메시지를 적재하고 운영체제에 의해 디제이블되지 않은 상태에서 타이밍 시스템이 타임-아웃되면 상기 네트워크 메시지를 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장해 통지 시스템.
