Abstract
본 발명은 신속 고정 재료 스프레이 건(10)을 세척하고 씻어내는 방법에 관한 것이며, 본 방법은 바람직한 실시예로서 대략 62.5% DMSO, 32.5% DBE 및 5% 물의 혼합물을 사용한다. 이러한 혼합물(12)은 분무될 시 비독성이며 액체의 어는점을 10℉(-12.2℃) 미만으로 낮춘다. 용매는 정화 공기와 혼합되어 건으로부터 분무된 형태로 분출되기 때문에, 비독성 용매가 사용되는 것이 중요하며, 얼지 않고 더 추운 기후에서 사용될 수 있도록 혼합물의 어는점이 충분히 낮은 것도 중요하다.
Description
본 출원은 2007년 9월 11일에 출원된 미국 출원번호 제60/971,305호의 우선권을 주장하며, 그 내용은 본 명세서에서 참조로서 포함된다. 또한, 본 출원은 2008년 4월 24일에 출원된 미국 출원번호 제61/047,482호의 우선권을 주장하며, 그 내용은 역시 본 명세서에서 참조로서 포함된다.
신속 고정 펌핑 및 스프레이 장비(fast set pumping and spraying equipment)를 세척하는 데 사용되는 종래의 용매는 폴리우레탄, 폴리우레아(polyurea) 등을 사용하며, 미네랄 스피릿(mineral spirit), 크실렌, 아세톤, N-부틸 아세테이트, 부틸 셀로솔브(butyl cellosolve), 부틸 카비톨(butyl carbitol), N-부틸 알코올, 메틸 에틸 케톤(MEK), 메틸 이소-부틸 케톤, 스토다드(Stoddard), 글리콜 에테르, N-메틸피롤리돈(N-methylpyrrolidone: NMP) 및 "DynaSolve" 상호의 용매를 포함한다. 이러한 재료 중 다수는 그들과 관련된 일정 유독성을 갖는다.
바람직한 실시예로서 대략 62.5% DMSO, 32.5% DBE 및 5% 물의 혼합물을 사용하여 신속 고정 재료 스프레이 건(fast-set material spray gun)을 세척하고(cleaning) 씻어내는(flushing) 방법이 개시된다. 이러한 혼합물은 분무될(atomized) 시 비독성(non-toxic)이며, 액체의 어는점을 10℉(-12.2℃) 아래로 낮춘다. 용매는 정화 공기(purge air)와 혼합되어 건으로부터 분무된 형태로 분출되기 때문에 비독성 용매가 사용되는 것이 중요하고, 또한, 얼지 않고 더 추운 기후에서 사용될 수 있도록 혼합물의 어는점이 충분히 낮은 것이 중요하다.
본 발명의 이러한 목적과 기타 목적 및 장점은 첨부하는 도면과 관련하여 이하의 설명으로부터 더 자세히 나타날 것이며, 몇몇 도면들에 걸쳐 유사 도면 부호는 동일하거나 유사한 부분을 지시한다.
도 1은 건이 스프레이하지 않는 상태의 본 발명의 방법을 사용하는 유체 스프레이용 공기 정화 건의 바람직한 실시예를 도시한다.

바람직한 실시예에서 대략 62.5% DMSO[디메틸 설폭사이드(dimethyl sulfoxide)], 32.5% DBE[이염기성 에스테르(dibasic esther)] 및 5% 물(water)의 혼합물(12)을 사용하는, 신속 고정 재료 스프레이 건(10)을 세척하고 씻어내는 방법이 개시된다. 이러한 혼합물(12)은 분무될 시 비독성이며, 액체의 어는점을 10℉(-12.2℃) 아래로 낮춘다. 용매는 정화 공기(14)와 혼합되어 건(10)으로부터 분무된 형태로 분출되기 때문에 비독성 용매가 사용되는 것이 중요하고, 또한, 얼지 않고 더 추운 기후에서 사용될 수 있도록 혼합물의 어는점이 충분히 낮은 것이 중요하다.
이하의 청구범위에 의해 정의되는 본 발명의 취지와 범주로부터 벗어남 없이 세척 방법에 다양한 변경과 수정이 이루어질 수 있다는 것이 고려된다.
Claims (5)
- 정화 공기 통로를 갖는 공기 정화 신속 고정 재료 스프레이 건(air purge fast-set material spray gun)을 세척하는 방법에 있어서,
DMSO 및 적어도 하나의 어는점 내림 성분을 포함하는 세척 재료의 공급원을 제공하는 단계와,
상기 세척 재료를 상기 정화 공기 통로 내로 도입시키는 단계를 포함하는
세척 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 어는점 내림 성분은 DBE를 포함하는
세척 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 어는점 내림 성분은 물을 포함하는
세척 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 어는점 내림 성분은 DBE 및 물을 포함하는
세척 방법. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 세척 재료는 62.5% DMSO, 32.5% DBE 및 5% 물을 포함하는
세척 방법.
