Claims (7)
- 입력 데이터에 따라 디스플레이 디바이스의 액정 셀(20)을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로에 있어서,제 1 스위치(12)로서, 상기 입력 데이터를 수신하기 위한 입력부와, 이 제 1 스위치의 입력부로부터 제 1 스위치의 출력부로 상기 입력 데이터를 스위칭하기 위한 선택 입력부를 구비하는 제 1 스위치와;상기 제 1 스위치의 출력부에 연결된 저장 커패시터(14)와;상기 저장 커패시터(14)와 상기 액정 셀(20) 사이에 연결된 증폭기(16)를 포함하며,상기 증폭기(16)는 상기 제 1 스위치(12)의 상기 선택 입력부에 연결된 선택 입력부를 구비하는 제 2 스위치(18)를 구비하며, 상기 제 2 스위치(18)는 상기 증폭기(16)에 주기적으로 전력을 공급하고 상기 액정 셀(20) 상에 전하를 리프레시 하기 위해 상기 증폭기(16)를 선택적으로 게이팅(gating)하는,액정 셀을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 액정 셀은 플레이트 전극과 공통 전극을 포함하며, 상기 입력 데이터는 상기 공통 전극에 대해 양으로 충전된 데이터와 상기 공통 전극에 대하여 음으로 충전된 데이터를 포함하며, 상기 증폭기는 상기 입력 데이터에 따라 상기 플레이트 전극 상에 전하를 리프레시 하도록 연결되는, 액정 셀을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 증폭기는 상기 저장 커패시터로부터 상기 액정 셀을 전기적으로 격리하도록 동작가능한, 액정 셀을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로.
- 입력 데이터에 따라 디스플레이 디바이스의 액정 셀(20)을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로에 있어서,제 1 스위치(12)로서, 상기 입력 데이터를 수신하기 위한 입력부와, 이 제 1 스위치의 입력부로부터 제 1 스위치의 출력부로 상기 입력 데이터를 스위칭하기 위한 선택 입력부를 구비하는 제 1 스위치(12)와;상기 제 1 스위치의 출력부에 연결된 저장 커패시터(14)와;상기 액정 셀(20)에 연결된 증폭기(16)와;상기 저장 커패시터(14)와 상기 증폭기(16) 사이에 연결되며, 상기 저장 커패시터(14)로부터 상기 증폭기(16)로 전하를 전달하기 위해 상기 제 1 스위치(12)와는 독립적으로 동작가능한 제 2 스위치(32)와;상기 증폭기(16)에 연결되며 상기 선택 입력부에 응답하는 제 3 스위치(34)로서, 상기 제 3 스위치(34)는 상기 저장 커패시터(14)로부터 전류를 주기적으로 완전히 방전하는, 제 3 스위치(34)를 포함하는, 액정 셀을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 스위치의 출력부에 연결된 구동기 커패시터를 더 포함하는, 액정 셀을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 제 3 스위치는 상기 구동기 커패시터를 선택적으로 방전시키기 위하여 상기 구동기 커패시터에 병렬로 연결된, 액정 셀을 충전하기 위한 구동 회로.
- 입력 데이터에 따라 디스플레이 디바이스의 액정 셀(20)을 충전하는 방법으로서,선택 신호에 따라 커패시터(14)를 충전하기 위해 상기 입력 데이터를 인가하는 단계와;상기 커패시터(14) 상의 전하에 따라 상기 액정 셀(20)을 충전하도록 증폭기(16)를 동작시키는 단계와;상기 선택 신호에 응답하여 상기 증폭기(16)로부터 상기 액정 셀(20)로 제공되는 전류의 흐름을 선택적으로 제한하기 위해 상기 증폭기(16)를 게이팅(gating)하는 단계를 포함하는, 액정 셀을 충전하는 방법.
