Description
Claims (30)
- 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 가이드 롤로 반송함으로써 팽윤욕 내의 수성 용매에 침지하고, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 팽윤시키는 팽윤공정, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 이색성 물질로 염색하는 염색공정, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 연신하는 연신공정을 포함하는 편광필름의 제조방법으로,상기 팽윤공정에 있어서, 상기 팽윤욕 내에 적어도 제 1 가이드 롤을 배치하고,상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 상기 수성 용매 중에 침지하고, 또한, 상기 수성용매 중을 이동시킬 때에, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을, 폴리비닐알코올계 필름이 급격한 팽윤을 일으키기 전에 상기 제 1 가이드 롤에 접촉시키고,상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름이 상기 수성 용매에 접촉하고부터 제 1 가이드 롤에 접촉할 때까지 소요 시간 (a) 이, 0.6∼12초인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 팽윤욕 내에 추가로 제 2 가이드 롤이 배치되고, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을, 폴리비닐알코올계 필름이 급격한 팽윤을 일으키기 전에 상기 제 1 가이드 롤에 접촉시키고, 또한 폴리비닐알코올계 필름이 급격한 팽윤을 일으킨 후에 상기 제 2 가이드 롤에 접촉시키는 제조방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름이 상기 제 1 가이드 롤에 접촉하고부터 제 2 가이드 롤에 접촉할 때까지의 소요 시간 (b) 를 13∼120초로 하는 제조방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 소요 시간 (a) 와 상기 소요 시간 (b) 의 합계가 25∼180초의 범위인 제조방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 팽윤욕 중에 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 침지하는 시간이 100초 이상인 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 팽윤처리를 실시하기 전의 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 두께가 110 ㎛ 이하의 범위인 제조방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름이 1∼17 중량% 의 가소 재료를 함유하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 가이드 롤이 크라운 롤, 벤트 롤 및 이고 롤로부터 선택되는 적어도 1종의 롤인 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 제 1 가이드 롤 이외의 가이드 롤이 스파이럴 롤을 포함하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 팽윤욕의 온도가 15∼50℃ 의 범위인 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 팽윤공정에 있어서, 추가로 상기 팽윤욕 내에서 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름에 연신처리하는 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 팽윤처리에서의 연신배율이, 팽윤공정에 제공하기 전의 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 길이에 대해 1.5∼4.0배의 범위인 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 이색성 물질이 요오드 및 유기 염료의 하나 이상인 제조방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 상기 이색성 물질이 2종류 이상의 유기 염료인 제조방법.
