Claims (8)
- 전지의 양극과 음극 사이에 병렬로 연결되는 안전소자를 구비한 2차 전지에 있어서,상기 안전소자는 일정 온도 이상에서 저항이 급격하게 낮아지는 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이(Metal-Insulator Transition) 특성을 갖는 물질을 구비하고,상기 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이 특성을 갖는 물질은 일정 온도 미만에서는 부도체 특성을 나타내고 일정 온도 이상에서는 결정구조의 상전이에 의해 금속 특성을 나타내는 물질이며,상기 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이 특성을 갖는 물질은 X가 첨가되거나 첨가되지 않은 VO, VO2, V2O3 및 Ti2O3로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 어느 하나의 물질(상기 X는 St, Ba 및 La로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 어느 하나의 원소임)인 것이 특징인 2차 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안전소자는 저항 급변 온도(critical temperature)가 50 ℃ 이상 150 ℃ 미만인 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이 특성을 갖는 물질을 구비한 것이 특징인 2차 전지.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안전소자는 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이 특성을 갖는 물질의 임의의 두 곳에 금속 리드선을 연결하되 상기 금속 리드선은 각각 서로 접속되지 않으며, 상기 리드선이 각각 전지의 양극과 음극에 연결되도록 구성된 것이 특징인 2차 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안전소자는 칩 형태로 구성된 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이 특성을 갖는 물질을 구비한 것이 특징인 2차 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안전소자는 칩 형태로 구성된 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이특성을 갖는 물질을 구비하고, 상기 칩 양단을 금속 막으로 도포한 것이 특징인 2차 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안전소자는 포장재로 실링한 온도의존성 금속-부도체 전이 특성을 갖는 물질을 구비한 것이 특징인 2차 전지.
