Claims (8)
- 서로 대향하는 제 1, 2 기판과;상기 제 1, 2 기판 사이에 형성되는 액정층과;상기 제 1, 2 기판 상에 형성되어 있는 제 1 배향막과;상기 제 1, 2 기판중에서 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성되어 액정 분자를 평면 스위칭하는 CDR(Continuosly Director Rotate)모드 액정을 이용한 제 2 배향막을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1, 2 기판의 상하로 전계가 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향막은 폴리이미드(polyimide)계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 2 배향막은 인가되는 전계에 따라서 연속적으로 CDR 모드 액정 방향이 회전하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 2 배향막은 초기 배향시에 광경화되어 고분자 상을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 액정층은 네가티브(negative) 타입의 액정층인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1, 2 기판을 준비하는 단계와;상기 제 1, 2 기판 상에 제 1 배향막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 제 1, 2 기판중에서 적어도 한 기판 상에 CDR(Continuosly Director Rotate)모드 액정을 이용한 제 2 배향막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 제 1, 2 기판 사이에 액정층을 형성하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 CDR모드 액정을 이용한 제 2 배향막을 형성하는 단계에 있어서,상기 CDR모드 액정 분자를 치환하여 광경화성으로 개질하는 단계와;상기 개질한 CDR모드 액정을 기판 상에 형성하는 단계와;상기 CDR모드 액정을 광경화시키는 단계를 더 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
