Abstract
Description
Claims (9)
- 액정층을 사이에 유지하는 한 쌍의 기판 중 한쪽 기판에 한 쌍의 전극이 마련되고, 상기 한 쌍의 전극 사이에 발생하는 전계에 의해 상기 액정층을 구성하는 액정 분자를 구동시키는 액정 표시 장치로서,상기 한쪽의 기판은 상기 액정층과 접하여 상기 액정 분자의 배향 방향을 규제함과 아울러, 상기 한 쌍의 전극 중 한쪽 전극을 덮도록 마련된 배향막을 갖고,상기 배향막의 막 두께는 상기 배향막과 접하는 상기 한쪽 전극의 막 두께보다 두껍게 이루어지고,상기 배향막과 접하는 한쪽 전극의 막 두께와 상기 전극 상에서의 상기 배향막의 막 두께의 합과, 상기 한쪽 전극이 존재하지 않는 영역에서의 상기 배향막의 막 두께와의 차가, 60㎚ 미만인것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 배향막과 접하는 한쪽 전극의 막 두께는 100㎚ 이하이며,상기 배향막의 막 두께는 40㎚보다 크고 150㎚ 이하인것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 배향막과 접하는 한쪽 전극의 막 두께는 55㎚ 이하이며,상기 배향막의 막 두께는 80㎚ 이상 125㎚ 이하인것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 배향막과 접하는 상기 한쪽 전극의 막 두께와 상기 전극 상에서의 상기 배향막의 막 두께의 합과, 상기 한쪽 전극이 존재하지 않는 영역에서의 상기 배향막의 막 두께와의 차가, 15㎚ 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 배향막과 접촉하는 상기 한쪽 전극은 상호 전기적으로 접속된 복수의 띠형상부를 갖고 구성되어 있고,다른 쪽의 상기 전극은, 상기 한쪽 전극이 형성된 평면 영역을 포함함과 아울러 상기 한쪽 전극보다 큰 면적을 갖고 형성되어 있으며 또한, 상기 한쪽 전극과 절연층을 사이에 두고 배치되는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 한쪽 전극은, 상기 복수의 띠형상부 각각의 일단을 서로 접속하는 접속부를 갖고,상기 복수의 띠형상부 각각의 타단이 개방단으로 되어있는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 띠형상부의 양단부 각각에, 양단으로 향함에 따라 중앙부에서의 중심선으로부터 이격되는 굴곡부가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 청구항 1 내지 청구항 3 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 표시 장치를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자기기.
