Description
Claims (9)
- (a) 상부기판과 다수의 박막트랜지스터를 포함한 하부기판을 서로 이격되어 대향하고, 그 사이에 액정층이 충진되며, 투과 및 불투과영역으로 이루어진 액정패널을 제작하는 단계;(b) 상기 액정패널의 외부로 노출된 상부기판 상에 일정 두께의 투명도전막을 증착하는 단계; 및(c) 상기 외부로 노출된 상부기판의 표면에 엠보 형태의 불균일한 요철부가 형성되도록 상기 투명도전막의 전체를 제거함과 동시에 상기 상부기판을 일정 두께까지 제거하기 위한 식각 공정을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투명도전막이 ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)인 경우, 불산(HF) 계열의 에칭용액을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 단계(b)에서,상기 투명도전막은 40nm 내지 120nm 두께범위로 증착하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 단계(c)에서,상기 식각 공정의 수행 시 상기 하부기판도 일정 두께까지 함께 제거되도록 식각하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- (a') 상부기판과 다수의 박막트랜지스터를 포함한 하부기판을 서로 이격되어 대향하고, 그 사이에 액정층이 충진되며, 투과 및 불투과영역으로 이루어진 액정패널을 제작하는 단계;(b') 상기 액정패널의 외부로 노출된 상부기판 상에 일정 두께의 투명도전막을 증착하는 단계;(c') 포토리소그라피 공정에 의해 상기 투명도전막을 패터닝하여 상기 불투과영역과 대응되도록 투명도전막 패턴을 형성하는 단계; 및(d') 상기 투명도전막 패턴이 형성된 상부기판의 표면에 엠보 형태의 불균일한 요철부가 형성되도록 상기 투명도전막의 전체를 제거함과 동시에 상기 상부기판을 일정 두께까지 제거하기 위한 식각 공정을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 투명도전막이 ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)인 경우, 불산 계열의 에칭용액을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 단계(b')에서,상기 투명도전막은 40nm 내지 120nm 두께범위로 증착하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 단계(d')에서,상기 식각 공정의 수행 시 상기 하부기판도 일정 두께까지 함께 제거되도록 식각하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 단계(d')에서,상기 식각 공정의 수행 시 상기 투명도전막 패턴이 형성되지 않은 상부기판은 요철부가 형성되지 않고 일부가 제거되도록 식각하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
