Description
Claims (15)
- - 하나 이상의 O 플레이트 지연자, 및- 90°이상의 트위스트각 Φ를 갖는 하나 이상의 트위스트된 A 플레이트 지연자를 포함하여 이루어지는 액정 디스플레이용 광학 보정기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 O 플레이트 지연자의 평균 경사각 θave가 2 내지 88°인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 트위스트된 A 플레이트 지연자의 트위스트각 Φ가 360°이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 O 플레이트 지연자의 경사각 θ가 막의 한 면에서 최소값 θmin로부터 막의 반대면에서 최대값 θmax 까지 막 면에 수직 방향으로 단조롭게 변하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 θmin 이 0 내지 80°인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 θmax가 10 내지 90°인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 O 플레이트 및/또는 트위스트된 A 플레이트의 두께가 0.1 내지 10㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 O 플레이트 및/또는 트위스트된 A 플레이트의 광학 지연이 6 내지 300nm인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 O 플레이트가, 경사지거나 퍼진 구조를 갖는 선형 또는 가교결합된 중합 액정 물질을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 트위스트된 A 플레이트는 나선형으로 트위스트된 구조를 갖는 선형 또는 가교결합된 중합 키랄 액정 물질을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 제 10항에 있어서,상기 트위스트된 A 플레이트의 키랄 액정 물질의 나선 피치는 250nm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 보정기.
- 하기 요소:- 상호 대치되는 표면을 갖는 두 개의 투명한 기판으로 형성되는 액정 셀, 상기 두 개의 투명 기판 중 하나 이상의 내부에 제공되어, 선택적으로 정렬층과 겹쳐지는 전극층, 및 상기 두 개의 투명 기판 사이에 존재하는 액정 매질,- 상기 투명 기판 외부에 배열되어 있는 편광자, 또는 상기 기판을 사이에 끼운 한 쌍의 편광자, 및- 액정 셀 및 하나 이상의 상기 편광자 사이에 위치하는, 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 따른 하나 이상의 광학 보정기를 포함하여 이루어지고,상기 요소는 분리하거나, 쌓거나, 서로의 상부에 탑재하거나, 서로의 상부에 코팅하거나, 접착층을 사용하여 연결시킬 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 250nm 이하의 나선 피치를 갖는 트위스트된 A 플레이트를 포함하는 네거티브 C 플레이트.
- 제 13항에 있어서,하나 이상의 비키랄 중합성 메소제닉 화합물 및, 비중합성 키랄 화합물, 중합성 키랄 메소제닉 화합물 및 중합성 키랄 비-메소제닉 화합물 중에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 키랄 화합물을 포함하는 배향된 중합 조성물을 포함하여 이루어지는 트위스트된 A 플레이트를 포함하는 네거티브 C 플레이트.
- 제 13항 또는 제 14항에 따른 하나 이상의 트위스트된 A 플레이트를 포함하는 네거티브 C 플레이트, 및 액정 셀을 포함하여 이루어지는 액정 디스플레이.
