Abstract
Description
Claims (7)
- 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,매트릭스 형상으로 배치되고, 각각 화소 트랜지스터에 의해 구동되는 화소 전극;열마다에 상기 화소 트랜지스터의 게이트 전극에 접속된 복수의 게이트 라인;행마다에 상기 화소 트랜지스터의 소스 전극에 접속된 복수의 소스 라인;순차적으로 소정의 선택 기간마다 소정의 상기 게이트 라인을 선택 전압 공급 회로의 출력부에 결합하는 게이트 드라이버; 및상기 소스 라인에 영상 신호를 공급하는 소스 드라이버를 포함하고,상기 선택 전압 공급 회로는, 소정의 선택 전압을 공급하기 위한 제1 전원 및 상기 소정의 선택 전압보다 낮은 전압을 공급하기 위한 제2 전원을 가지고, 상기 제2 전원은 상기 선택 전압 공급 회로의 출력부에 접속되고, 상기 제1 전원은 스위치를 통하여 상기 선택 전압 공급 회로의 출력부에 접속되며, 상기 스위치에 의해 각각의 상기 선택 기간의 처음부터 상기 선택 기간의 길이보다 짧은 시간의 동안에는 상기 제1 전원으로부터의 전압을 상기 선택 전압 공급 회로의 출력부에 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제2 전원은 다이오드를 거쳐서 상기 선택 전압 공급 회로의 출력부에 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 화소 트랜지스터는 아몰퍼스 실리콘(amorphous silicon)으로 제작되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 선택 전압 공급 회로는 상기 게이트 드라이버와 별체로 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 선택 전압 공급 회로는 로우 레벨 게이트 전압 전원과 함께 상기 게이트 드라이버의 밖에 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 선택 전압 공급 회로는 상기 스위치를 복수개 포함하며, 상기 스위치 각각은, 상기 선택 전압 공급 회로가 상기 제1 전원으로부터의 전압과 상기 제2 전원으로부터의 전압 중 하나의 전압을 상기 복수의 게이트 라인으로 시간차를 두고 출력하도록, 상기 복수의 게이트 라인마다 할당되어 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
