Claims (11)
- 복수 개의 정보 저장층을 갖는 기록가능한 정보 저장 매체에 있어서,상기 정보 저장층 각각은 리드인 영역, 사용자 데이터 영역, 리드아웃 영역 및 드라이브를 위한 전용 영역을 포함하고, 기록할 사용자 정보의 용량을 등분하여 상기 각 정보 저장층에 동일한 용량의 데이터 영역이 할당되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 저장 매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 리드아웃 영역의 위치는 상기 데이터 영역의 용량에 따라 가변되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 저장 매체.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 전용 영역은 정보 저장 매체의 최외주부에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 저장 매체.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 리드아웃 영역과 전용 영역 사이에 남는 영역이 있을 때 이 남는 영역에는 데이터가 기록되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 저장 매체.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 전용 영역은 테스트 영역인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 저장 매체.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 전용 영역의 위치는 고정적인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 저장 매체.
- 복수 개의 정보 저장층을 포함하고, 상기 정보 저장층 각각은 리드인 영역, 사용자 데이터 영역, 리드아웃 영역 및 드라이브를 위한 전용 영역을 가지는 기록가능한 정보 저장 매체에 데이터를 기록하는 방법에 있어서,상기 드라이브를 위한 전용 영역에서 테스트를 수행하는 단계;기록할 사용자 정보의 용량을 상기 정보 저장층의 개수에 따라 등분하여 각 정보 저장층에 동일한 용량의 데이터를 기록하는 단계;상기 각 정보저장층의 데이터 영역에 이어서 리드아웃 속성의 데이터를 기록하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 전용 영역은 정보 저장 매체의 최외주부에 배치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7항 또는 제 8항에 있어서,상기 리드아웃 영역과 전용 영역 사이에 남는 영역이 있을 때 이 남는 영역에는 데이터를 기록하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7항 또는 8항에 있어서,상기 전용 영역의 위치는 고정적인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 복수 개의 정보 저장층을 포함하고, 상기 정보 저장층 각각은 리드인 영역, 사용자 데이터 영역, 리드아웃 영역 및 드라이브를 위한 전용 영역을 가지는 기록가능한 정보 저장 매체에 데이터를 기록하는 장치에 있어서,상기 정보 저장매체에 빔을 조사하는 픽업부;상기 정보 저장매체에서 반사된 빔을 상기 픽업부를 통해 받아 신호 처리하는 기록/재생 신호 처리부; 및상기 드라이브를 위한 전용 영역에서 테스트를 수행하고, 기록할 사용자 정보의 용량을 상기 정보 저장층의 개수에 따라 등분하여 각 정보 저장층에 동일한 용량의 데이터를 기록하도록 하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
