Description
Claims (10)
- 골재로서의 탄화규소 입자가 상호간에 세공을 유지한 상태에서 결합함으로써 구성된 다공질이면서 허니컴 형상인 다공질 허니컴 구조체와, 상기 다공질 허니컴 구조체의 표면에 담지된 알루미나 및 산화세륨을 주성분으로서 함유하는 촉매를 구비한 탄화규소질 촉매체로서,상기 촉매가 상기 다공질 허니컴 구조체의 표면에, 규소를 함유하는 산화물을 함유한 피막을 개재시킨 상태에서 담지되며, 또한, 상기 피막이 상기 다공질 허니컴 구조체를 구성하는 전원소의 2∼10 질량%의 산소를 함유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소질 촉매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피막이 원소로서 알루미나 및/또는 지르코니아를 함유하고 있는 것인 탄화규소질 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 피막이 결정상으로서 크리스토발라이트(cristobalite), 지르콘 및 멀라이트로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1종을 함유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소질 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 탄화규소 입자가 결합재로서의 금속 규소에 의해 결합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소질 촉매체.
- 탄화규소 입자를 함유하는 원료를 압출 성형하여 허니컴 형상의 허니컴 구조체를 얻고, 얻어진 상기 허니컴 구조체를 본 소성하며, 계속해서 산소 함유 분위기 하에서 열처리하여 다공질 허니컴 구조체를 얻고, 얻어진 상기 다공질 허니컴 구조체의 표면에 알루미나 및 산화세륨을 주성분으로서 함유하는 촉매를 담지시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소질 촉매체의 제조 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 열처리를 산소 및 수증기 함유 분위기 하에서 행하는 것인 탄화규소질 촉매체의 제조 방법.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 열처리를, 천연 가스를 연료로 한 버너 연소에 의해 생성된 열로 직접 대상물을 가열함으로써 행하는 것인 탄화규소질 촉매체의 제조 방법.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 열처리를 800∼1400℃의 온도에서 행하는 것인 탄화규소질 촉매체의 제조 방법.
- 탄화규소 입자를 함유하는 원료를 압출 성형하여 허니컴 형상의 허니컴 구조체를 얻고, 얻어진 상기 허니컴 구조체를 산소 함유 분위기 하에서 바인더를 제거한 후에 열처리하며, 계속해서 본 소성하여 다공질 허니컴 구조체를 얻고, 얻어진 상기 다공질 허니컴 구조체의 표면에 알루미나 및 산화세륨을 주성분으로서 함유하 는 촉매를 담지시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소질 촉매체의 제조 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 열처리를 400∼1000℃의 온도에서 행하는 것인 탄화규소질 촉매체의 제조 방법.
