Description

2개의 부재를 연결하는 연결장치
본 발명은 2개의 부재, 특히 가구 판을 연결시키기 위한 연결 장치에 관한 것이며, 이 연결 장치는 장착통과, 이 장착통에 회전 가능하도록 장착되는 조작 요소를 구비하며, 이 조작 요소는 연결 요소를 장착통 속에 유지할 수 있으며, 장착통이 장착된 상태에서 상기 조작 요소는 외부로부터 공구에 의해 회전될 수 있다.
도 1을 참조하여 가구 판들끼리 연결되는 일반적인 구조를 살펴보면, 제2 가구 판(B)에 있는 연결 요소(C)를 제1 가구 판(A)에 배치된 장착통(2) 속에 맞물리게 함으로써 서로 직각으로 연장되는 2개의 가구 판을 고정시키게 된다. 장착통 내의 조작 요소를 회전시키면, 조작 요소는 연결 요소의 배후에 맞물리며 바람직하게는 연결 요소를 장착통의 내부로 더욱 밀어 넣게 되어, 연결 요소가 장착통 속에 유지되어 견고하게 클램핑된다.
그러한 공지의 연결 장치에 있어서, 조작 요소는, 장착통이 장착된 상태에서 외부로부터 공구, 대개의 경우 십자홈 스크류 드라이버에 의해 회전될 수 있으며, 이를 위해 조작 요소에 있는 십자홈 형태의 공구 수납부 속에 스크류 드라이버가 삽입된다. 그러나, 가구 판이 존재하기 때문에, 스크류 드라이버를 조작 요소의 회전축에 평행하게 배치하는 것은 불가능할 수 있고, 이 때문에 회전축에 대해 경사진 상태로만 스크류 드라이버를 배치해야 하는 경우가 종종 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 임의의 각도 위치에서 스크류 드라이버가 최대한 충분하게 십자홈 속에 맞물릴 수 있도록 하기 위해, 조작 요소에 있는 십자홈의 형태는 넓은 각도 범위로 설계되지만, 이는 가능한 임의의 각도 위치에 있어서의 단지 일종의 절충적인 구성이다. 그러한 형태의 십자홈 때문에, 조작 요소를 회전시킬 때에 조립자에게는 스크류 드라이버의 정확한 경사 위치가 제공되지 못하고, 조작 요소를 회전시킬 때에 스크류 드라이버가 조작 요소의 공구 수납부로부터 미끄러져 나오지 않도록 조립자의 각별한 유의가 요구된다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 조작 요소를 회전시킬 때에 양호한 조작이 이루어질 수 있도록 서두에 전제된 형식의 연결 장치를 개량하는 것이다.
본 발명에 따르면, 그러한 목적은 조작 요소의 회전축에 대해 경사져 연장되고 조작 요소 쪽으로 향하는 안내 채널을 장착통에 마련함으로써 달성된다.
조작 요소를 회전시키기 위한 공구가 도입되는 그러한 안내 채널에 의해 조작 요소에 대한 스크류 드라이버의 정확한 위치가 조립자에게 제공된다. 안내 채널의 직경은 도입되는 공구에 대해 가능한 작은 틈새가 남겨지도록 맞춰진다. 예컨대, 안내 채널의 직경은 스크류 드라이버의 샤프트 직경에 맞춰질 수 있다. 그에 의해, 스크류 드라이버가 안내 채널에서 정확하게 안내되고, 스크류 드라이버를 돌릴 때에도 스크류 드라이버가 공구 수납부로부터 미끄러져 나오지 않기 때문에 조립자는 스크류 드라이버를 돌리는 데에만 집중하면 된다. 안내 채널은 둘레 가 폐쇄된 관통 구멍일 필요는 없고, 예컨대 제조 기술상의 이유로 유용한 경우에는 슬릿이 형성되어 한쪽이 개방된 둘레벽을 구비할 수도 있다.
제조 기술상으로 특히 바람직한 실시예에 있어서, 안내 채널은 장착통의 외벽에 있는 관통 구멍에 의해 형성된다. 따라서, 장착통은 예컨대 미리 관통 구멍을 가진 사출 성형 부재 또는 관통 구멍이 별도로 형성되는 금속 부재로 제조될 수 있다.
공구를 가능한 한 삐뚤어지거나 잘못 정렬되는 일없이 안내 채널 안으로 도입할 수 있고, 공구를 돌리는 동안에 공구가 안내 채널의 내에서 안내될 수 있도록, 안내 채널은 3 mm 이상, 바람직하게는 4 mm 이상의 길이로 형성된다.
본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 있어서, 안내 채널은 조작 요소의 회전축에 대해 약 30°까지, 바람직하게는 약 22°까지 경사진 상태로 연장된다. 본 발명에 따르면, 공구가 안내 채널 내에서 안내되기 때문에, 공구를 종래의 경우보다 더 크게 경사지게 할 수 있고, 그에 의해 연결 장치의 조작이 추가적으로 더욱 개선된다. 원리적으로, 약 25°까지의 임의의 공구 경사도가 안내 채널에 의해 제공될 수 있다.
또 다른 실시예에 있어서, 공구의 도입 방향에서 보았을 때, 안내 채널이 그 전방 둘레부에서는 조작 요소의 회전축에 대해 거의 평행하게 연장하게 되면, 예컨대 원추형의 뾰족한 조작 첨두부를 구비한 스크류 드라이버로서 구성된 공구는 그 샤프트가 경사진 후방 둘레부에서 안내될 수 있고, 스크류 드라이버의 경사 위치로 인해 조작 요소의 회전축에 대해 거의 평행하게 연장되는 조직 첨두부가 전방 둘레부에서 안내될 수 있다.
본 발명의 매우 바람직한 실시예에서는, 공구를 사용하여 조작 요소를 보다 편리하게 회전시키기 위해, 안내 채널에서 경사지게 안내되는 공구를 수납하도록 공구 수납부가 조작 요소에 형성된다. 조작 요소 또는 그 공구 수납부에 대한 공구의 경사 위치가 정확하게 미리 정해지기 때문에, 공구 수납부의 형태는 종래에 필요했었던 것과 같이 넓은 각도 범위로 맞춰질 필요가 없고, 미리 정해진 공구의 경사 위치에 상응하도록 형성될 수 있다.
이를 위해, 그러한 실시예의 특히 바람직한 다른 구성에서는 공구 수납부로서는 안내 채널의 축선에 대해 정렬된 십자홈이 마련되는데, 십자홈의 슬릿 아암은 경사지게 배치된 스크류 드라이버를 수납하도록 형성된다.
그 경우, 공구의 도입 방향을 기준으로 전방에 있는 십자홈의 슬릿 아암은 도입 방향을 기준으로 전방을 향하여 개방되는 것이 바람직한데, 그러한 구성은 조작 요소를 더욱 소형화시키는 데에 기여한다.

도 1에는 2개의 가구 판을 연결하는 역할을 하는 연결 장치가 도면 부호 1로 지시되어 있다. 연결 장치(1)는 장착통(2)과, 이 장착통(2) 내에 회전축(3)을 중심으로 회전 가능하게 장착되는 조작 요소(4)를 구비한다.
장착통(2)은 그 연부(5)가 맞닿을 때까지 제1 가구 판(A)의 해당 구멍 속에 삽입되고, 제2 가구 판(B)의 연결 요소(C)는 연결 요소 수납부(6)를 통해 장착통(2)의 내부에 맞물린다. 그러한 연결 요소는 조작 요소(4)를 회전시킴으로써, 연결 요소 수납부(6)에 비해 축소된 개구부(7)에 의해 장착통(2) 속에 유지될 뿐 아니라, 조작 요소(4)의 경사진 내면(8)으로 인해 회전축(3)을 향한 방향으로도 클램핑된다.
장착통(2)이 제1 가구 판(A)에 장착되어 있을 때에 조작 요소(4)를 회전시킬 수 있도록 하기 위해, 조작 요소(4)에는 십자홈(10)의 형태의 공구 수납부(9)가 마련되고, 그 공구 수납부(9) 내에 스크류 드라이버(11)가 외부로부터 도입 방향(12)으로 경사진 상태로 도입될 수 있다. 그와 같이 경사진 상태의 스크류 드라이버(11)를 안내하기 위해, 회전축(3)에 대해 경사지게 연장되고 공구 수납부(9) 쪽으로 향하는 안내 채널(13)이 장착통(2)에 마련되어 있다. 그러한 안내 채널(13)에 의해 스크류 드라이버(11)의 샤프트(14) 또는 십자형 조작 첨두부(15)는 작은 틈새를 두고 도입되어 안내되는 방식으로 회전한다. 그 경우, 공구 수납부(9)는 안내 채널(13)의 축선(16) 방향으로 정렬되어 있다. 즉, 공구 수납부(9)의 형태는 안내 채널(13)에 의해 미리 정해진 스크류 드라이버(11) 및 그 조작 첨두부(15)의 경사 위치에 맞춰치도록 되어 있다.

본 발명에 따른 2개의 부재의 연결 장치에서는, 조작 요소의 회전축에 대해 경사져 연장되고 조작 요소 쪽으로 향하는 안내 채널이 장착통에 마련되는 것에 의해 조작 요소에 대한 스크류 드라이버의 정확한 위치가 조립자에게 제공된다. 그에 의해, 스크류 드라이버가 안내 채널에서 정확하게 안내되고, 스크류 드라이버를 돌릴 때에도 스크류 드라이버가 조작 요소의 공구 수납부로부터 미끄러져 나오지 않게 되어 조립자는 오로지 스크류 드라이버를 돌리는 데에만 집중하면 되기 때문에 조작이 양호하게 이루어진다.

  1. 장착통(2)과, 이 장착통(2)에 회전 가능하도록 장착되는 조작 요소(4)를 구비하고, 상기 조작 요소(4)에 의해 연결 요소가 장착통(2) 내에 유지될 수 있으며, 상기 조작 요소(4)는 장착통(2)이 장착된 상태예서 외부로부터 공구(11)에 의해 회전될 수 있는, 2개의 부재를 연결시키기 위한 연결 장치(1)에 있어서,
    상기 조작 요소(4)의 회전축(3)에 대해 소정 각도로 경사져 연장되고 그 조작 요소(4)를 향하는 안내 채널(13)이 장착통(2)에 마련되며,
    상기 조작 요소(4)는 안내 채널(13)에서 경사지게 안내되는 공구를 수납하기 위한 공구 수납부(9)를 구비하고, 이 공구 수납부(9)로서는 안내 채널(13)의 축선(16) 방향으로 배향된 십자홈(10)이 마련되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안내 채널(13)은 상기 장착통(2)의 외벽(17)에 있는 관통 구멍에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안내 채널(13)은 공구(11)의 도입 방향(12)에서 보았을 때 전방 둘레부(19)에서는 상기 조작 요소(4)의 회전축(3)과 거의 평행하게 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 공구(11)의 도입 방향(12)을 기준으로 전방에 있는 십자홈(10)의 슬릿 아암(20)은 도입 방향(12)을 기준으로 전방을 향해 개방되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안내 채널(13)은 그 길이가 3mm이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안내 채널(13)은 상기 조작 요소(4)의 회전축(3)에 대해 약 30°이하의 각도로 경사져 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
