Claims (10)
- 행렬 형상으로 배치된 복수의 화소 전극 및 상기 화소 전극에 대응하여 배치된 복수의 보유 회로를 구비하고,수시로 입력되는 영상 신호에 따른 화소 전압을 상기 화소 전극에 수시로 인가하여 표시하는 통상 동작 모드와, 상기 보유 회로가 기억한 데이터에 따라 표시하는 메모리 동작 모드를 갖는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치에 있어서,상기 보유 회로는 복수 화소에 하나 배치되고,상기 보유 회로 각각의 출력은 복수의 화소 전극에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 보유 회로는 2 화소에 하나의 비율로 배치되고,상기 보유 회로의 출력은, 두개의 화소 전극에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 보유 회로는 4 화소에 하나의 비율로 배치되고,상기 보유 회로의 출력은 4개의 화소 전극에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 행렬 형상으로 배치된 복수의 화소 전극 및 상기 화소 전극에 대응하여 배치된 복수의 보유 회로를 구비하고,수시로 입력되는 영상 신호에 따른 화소 전압을 상기 화소 전극에 수시로 인가하여 표시하는 통상 동작 모드와, 상기 보유 회로가 기억한 데이터에 따라 표시하는 메모리 동작 모드를 갖는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치에 있어서,상기 보유 회로의 수는, 상기 화소 전극의 수에 비교하여 적은 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 보유 회로의 수는 상기 화소 전극의 수의 1/2인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 보유 회로의 수는 상기 화소 전극의 수의 1/4인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 행렬 형상으로 배치된 복수의 화소 전극 및 상기 화소 전극에 대응하여 배치된 복수의 보유 회로를 구비하고,수시로 입력되는 영상 신호에 따른 화소 전압을 상기 화소 전극에 수시로 인가하여 표시하는 통상 동작 모드와, 상기 보유 회로가 기억한 데이터에 따라 표시하는 메모리 동작 모드를 갖는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치에 있어서,상기 메모리 동작 모드 시의 표시 화소 수는 상기 통상 동작 모드 시의 표시 화소 수보다도 적은 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 메모리 동작 모드 시의 화소 수는 상기 통상 동작 모드 시의 화소 수의 1/2인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 메모리 동작 모드 시의 화소 수는 상기 통상 동작 모드 시의 화소 수의 1/4인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 보유 회로는 3치 이상의 데이터를 보유하는 다비트 메모리인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
