Claims (12)
- 가스 충진물로 봉입 및 충진되거나 개구되며 가스 또는 혼합 가스 흐름이 통과하는 비도전성 물질로 이루어진 적어도 부분적으로 투명한 방전 챔버(2;15)와, 서로 분리되고 유전 물질에 의해 상기 방전 챔버(2;15)의 내부로부터 분리된 전극을 구비하여 유전성 임피디드 방전에 의해 비간섭적으로 발산하는 방전 램프(14)를 포함하는 발광원(1;14)을 동작시키기 위한 방법으로서,상기 전극들은 서로 이웃하여 위치되며 휴지에 의해 분리된 일련의 전압 펄스를 전달하는 전압원의 두 극(23,24)에 교호적 방식으로 접속되어, 상이한 극성의 전극들(3,4;16,17;17,18;18,19;19,20) 사이 영역에서는 상기 방전 챔버(2;15)의 내벽으로부터 분리된 공간을 갖는 상기 방전 챔버(2;15)의 내부에서 공간 방전(11;26)이 발생되도록 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 펄스의 폭은 0.1㎲와 10㎲ 사이의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 펄스의 폭은 0.5㎲와 5㎲ 사이의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 펄스의 반복 주파수는 1kHz와 1MHz 사이의 범위인것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 펄스의 반복 주파수는 10kHz와 100kHz 사이의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전압 펄스는 세미-사인파 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 펄스의 높이는 100V 와 10kV 사이의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 방전 챔버(2;15)의 벽(5;21)은 상기 전극과 상기 공간 방전(11;26) 사이의 상기 유전 물질로서 동작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 전극은 상기 벽(5;21)의 외부 상에 서로 이웃하여 배열된 도전 스트립(3,4;16-20)으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 스트립(16-20)의 개수가 2 이상인 경우, 상기 스트립(16-20)은 동일한 거리로 상기 벽(21)의 외부 상에 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 방전 챔버(15)의 벽(21) 내부 표면에 적어도 부분적으로 인 코팅제(25)가 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 발광원(14)이 비간섭적으로 발광을 발산시키도록 전압을 상기 발광원(14)에 공급하는 전압원(27)을 사용하고, 상기 발광원(14)은 유전성 임피디드 방전에 적합하며, 가스 충진물로 봉입 및 충진되거나 개구되며 가스 또는 혼합 가스 흐름이 통과하는 비도전성 물질로 이루어진 적어도 부분적으로 투명한 방전 챔버(15)와, 서로 분리되며 유전 물질에 의해 상기 방전 챔버(15)의 내부로부터 분리되고 상기 전압원(27)에 접속된 전극(16-20)을 구비한 방전 램프를 포함하는 발광원(14)을 사용하는 조명 시스템으로서,상기 전극(16-20)은 서로 이웃하여 배열되고 휴지에 의해 분리된 일련의 전압 펄스를 전달하는 상기 전압원(27)의 두 극(23,24)에 교호적 방식으로 접속되어, 상이한 극성의 전극들(16,17;17,18;18,19;19,20) 사이 영역에서는 상기 방전 챔버(15)의 내벽으로부터 분리된 공간을 갖는 상기 방전 챔버(15)의 내부에서 공간 방전(26)이 발생되도록 하는 조명 시스템.
