- 물체측으로부터 순차적으로,정의 굴절력을 가지는 제1렌즈군과;부의 굴절력을 가지는 제2렌즈군과;정의 굴절력을 가지는 제3렌즈군으로 이루어지고,상기 제2렌즈군 물체쪽으로부터 상면쪽으로 이동하고, 상기 제3렌즈군이 상면쪽으로부터 물체쪽으로 이동하고 다시 상면쪽으로 이동함에 따라, 광각단에서 망원단으로의 줌잉을 수행하고 다음의 조건을 만족하는 줌렌즈.2.0 〈 β2(T)/β3(T) 〈 2.5-0.7 〈 β3(T) 〈 -0.4β2(T) : 망원단에서의 제2렌즈군의 배율β3(T) : 망원단에서의 제3렌즈군의 배율
- 제1항에 있어서, 다음의 조건을 더 포함하여 만족하는 줌렌즈.0.6 〈 f(w)/f(3) 〈 0.8f(w) : 광각단에서의 전체 렌즈계 초점 거리f(3) : 제3렌즈군의 초점 거리
