Abstract

본 고안은 체액의 흐름을 소정 방향으로 규제하는 체액 처리용품의 투액성 표면 시이트에 관한 것이다. 열가소성 합성수지로 구성되는 본 고안의 투액성 표면 시이트(1)에서, 제1방향 리브(2)와 이를 교차하는 제2방향 리브(3)가 리브 구조를 구성한다. 제2방향 리브(3)의 헤드부(7)은 제1방향 리브(2)의 측부(6)에 접속되고, 인접하는 제1방향 리브(2)가 체액을 소정의 방향으로 흐르게 하는 도랑(10)을 형성한다.

본 고안은 1회용 기저귀, 생리용 냅킨 등의 체액 처리용품에 사용하는 열가소성 합성수지로 구성되는 투액성 표면 시이트에 관한 것이다.
종래, 체액 처리용품의 흡수체를 피복하는 투액성 표면 시이트에는 부직포 또는 열가소성 합성수지를 포함하는 개공 시이트등을 사용해왔다.
체액 처리용품은 체액을 빨리 흡수해야 하며, 이를 위해서는 체액을 흡수체 표면 전체에 신속하게 퍼지게 할 수 있도록 표면 시이트에 체액의 흐름에 대한 방향성을 제공하거나 확산성을 제공하여, 체액의 확산을 소정의 방향으로 규제하는 것이 효과적이다.
그러나, 표면 시이트가 부직포인 경우, 구성 섬유와 액체 사이에 형성되는 모관 작용에 기인하는 체액의 확산을 기대할 수 있으나, 일반적으로 표면 시이트에 사용하는 부직포는 유연한 감촉을 얻기 위해서 밀도를 지나치게 높일 수가 없으므로, 신속한 확산성을 얻기 어렵고, 또한 확산의 방향을 규제하기 어렵다.
개공 시이트의 경우에는, 체력이 시이트 표면상을 유동하는 현상이 있어도, 이의 유동 방향을 규제할 수 없다.
따라서 본 고안은 열가소성 합성수지로 구성된 투액성 표면 시이트에 리브(rib)구조를 설치함으로써 체액의 흐름을 소정의 방향으로 규제할 수 있는 표면 시이트를 얻는 것을 과제로 한다.
본 고안이 전술한 바와 같은 과제를 해결하는 요지는 이하에 기술하였다.
본 고안은 열가소성 합성수지로 구성되는 체액 처리용품의 투액성 표면시이트를 대상으로 한다.
이와같은 표면 시이트에 있어서, 제1방향을 따르는 헤드부와 헤드부 양쪽이 아래쪽으로 구부러져서 형성된 제1방향을 따르는 측부를 가진 다수의 제1방향 리브와, 제2방향을 따르는 헤드부를 가진 다수의 제2방향 리브가 교차한다. 서로 인접한 2개의 제1방향 리브와, 이들 2개의 제1방향 리브를 교차하는 서로 인접한 2개의 제2방향 리브는 투액성 개공을 구성한다. 또한 제1방향 리브와 제2방향 리브의 교차에 있어서, 제2방향 리브의 헤드부가 제1방향 리브의 측부에 접속되어 리브 구조를 형성한다. 표면 시이트가 이러한 구조를 가짐은 본 고안의 특징이다.
이러한 구조의 표면 시이트에 있어서, 다수의 제1방향 리브가 제1방향을 따라 병행하는데, 이들 리브의 간격은 제2방향 리브에 의해 유지된다. 제2방향 리브의 헤드부는 제1방향 리브의 측부에 접속함으로써, 서로 인접한 제1방향 리브는 제1방향을 따라서 뻗어 있게되고, 저부에 제2방향 리브와 개공을 가지는 도랑을 형성할 수 있다. 체액은 상기 도랑속을, 특히 제1방향을 향해 흐르기 쉽고, 제1방향에 교차하는 방향으로의 흐름은 억제된다.
이하에서는 첨부된 도면에 의거하여 고안을 상세히 설명하고자 한다.
제1도는 본 고안에 의한 표면 시이트(1)의 표면 형상을 도시한 사시도이다. 표면 시이트(1)는 다수의 제1방향 리브(2)와, 이를 교차하는 다수의 제2방향 리브(3)로 구성되며, 서로 인접한 2개의 제1방향 리브(2)와 이를 교차하는 서로 인접한 2개의 제2방향 리브(3)는 투액성 개공(4)을 구성한다. 제1방향 리브(2)는 이의 길이방향인 제1방향을 따르는 헤드부(5)와, 헤드부(5)의 양측이 하향 만곡되어 형성된 측부(6) 및 아래쪽 가장자리(6A)를 가지고 있다. 제2방향 리브(3)는 이의 길이방향이 제2방향이 되고 평탄한 시이트상을 이루며, 이의 표면은 헤드부(7)를 이룬다. 제2방향 리브(3)는 제1방향 리브(2)와의 교차 부위에 존재하여 제1방향 리브(2)의 측부(6)에 아래쪽 가장자리(6A) 또는 그 부근에서 접속한다. 이러한 접속에 의해 인접하여 병행하는 제1방향 리브(2)는 소정의 간격을 유지하면서 제1방향을 따라 뻗어서 도랑(10)을 형성한다. 도랑(10)의 저부는 제2방향 리브(3)과 개공(4)로 구성되며, 이 개공(4)는 투액성이 있다.
제2도는 제1도에 있어서의 X-X선 단면도이고, 제1방향 리브(2)의 아래쪽 가장자리(6A)와 제2방향 리브(3)의 헤드부(7)가 서로 접촉하는 상태와, 인접하는 제1방향 리브(2)에 의해 도랑(10)이 형성되는 상태를 도시한다.
제3도는 제1도와 같은 사시도이지만, 이 경우에는 제2방향 리브(3)의 헤드부(7)이 제1방향 리브(2)의 한쪽과 그것의 아래쪽 가장자리(6A) 부근에서 접속되고, 다른쪽의 제1방향 리브(2)와는 이의 측부(6)의 위쪽에서 접속되어 있다.
이 경우에도 도랑(10)이 형성된다.
제4도는 본 고안의 또다른 구체예를 도시한 제1도와 같은 사시도이다. 제2방향 리브(3)는 제1방향 리브(2) 보다 폭이 좁고 높이도 낮지만, 제1방향 리브(2)와 마찬가지로 헤드부(7)와 그 양쪽에 측부(8)를 가진다.
헤드부(7)는 제1방향 리브(2)의 측부(6)에 접속된다. 이와 같이 제2방향 리브(3)의 헤드부(7)는 제1방향 리브(2)의 헤드부(5)위로 돌출하지 않고 인접하는 제1방향 리브(2)에 의해 제1방향을 따라 뻗어 있는 도랑(10)이 형성된다.
표면 시이트(1)에 있어서, 도랑(10)의 폭은 인접하는 제1방향 리브(2)의 아래쪽 가장자리(6A) 사이에서 0.1-3mm이고, 제1, 제2방향 리브(2, 3)의 폭은 0.3-3mm이며, 제1방향 리브(2)의 높이는 0.2-3mm이되, 제2방향 리브(3)의 높이는 제1방향 리브(2) 보다 낮게 하고, 개공(4)은 0.1-9mm2의 범위에 있는 것이 바람직하다.
제1방향 리브(2)의 두께는 0.02-0.2mm이고, 제2방향 리브(3)의 두께는 제1방향 리브(2)와 동일하거나 그보다 얇게 구성한다. 이러한 표면 시이트(1)는 예를들면 폴리에틸렌 시이트 등의 열가소성 합성 수지 시이트를 형성함으로써 얻을 수 있다.
표면 시이트가 소수성인 경우에는, 시이트(1) 표면에 친수화 처리를 적절히 실시하여 체액에 의해 습윤되는 정도를 조정할 수 있는데, 이로써 도랑(10)의 측벽과 체액간의 모관작용에 의해 체액을 제1방향으로 신속히 확산시키는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
제5도는 표면 시이트(1)를 이용한 생리용 냅킨(20)의 사시도이다.
생리용 냅킨(20)은 세로가 긴 형태로 제작되며, 표면 시이트(1)는 제1방향 리브(2)의 헤드부(5)가 피부에 닿는 쪽으로 접하고, 또한 도랑(10)을 따르는 방향에 일치하도록 사용함으로써, 표면 시이트(1)상의 체액은 도랑(10)속을 흘러서 냅킨의 양단에 까지 이른다.
이에 부응하여 냅킨 횡폭 방향으로의 흐름은 적어지고 체액이 횡방향 누출을 우수하게 방지할 수 있다.
본 고안에 의한 표면 시이트는, 도랑이 소정의 방향을 향하도록 함으로써, 체액의 흐름 방향을 규제할 수 있고, 또한 도랑을 교차하는 방향으로부터의 체액누출을 방지할 수 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 열가소성 합성 수지로 구성되는 체액 처리용품의 투액성 표면 시이트에 있어서, 제1방향을 따르는 헤드부와 이 헤드부 양측이 아래쪽으로 구부러져서 형성된 상기 제1방향을 따르는 측부를 가진 다수의 제1방향 리브와, 제2방향을 따르는 헤드부를 가진 다수의 제2방향 리브가 교차하며, 서로 인접한 2개의 제1방향 리브와, 이들 2개의 제1방향 리브를 교차하는 서로 인접한 2개의 제2방향 리브는 투액성 개공을 구성하고, 또한, 상기 교차 부위에서는 상기 제2방향 리브의 헤드부가 상기 제1방향 리브의 측부에 접속되어 있는 리브 구조를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 투액성 표면 시이트.
