Claims (10)

  1. 眼を治療するためのシステムであって、
    光活性化光を提供するように構成されたレーザー光源、
    前記光活性化光をレーザービームとして受け、架橋剤で処理された角膜の上で前記レーザービームを移動させるように構成された走査システム、及び、
    前記レーザー光源及び前記走査システムをプログラムに従って制御する制御信号を提供するように構成された制御装置であって、1つ以上の前記制御信号が、前記角膜の1つ以上の領域に前記レーザービームを走査パターンに従って複数回来訪させ、前記1つ以上の領域を前記光活性化光に露光させる、制御装置を含み、
    前記光活性化光は、前記1つ以上の露光領域内の前記架橋剤を酸素と反応させることで、前記1つ以上の露光領域内に架橋活性を発生させ、
    前記走査パターンは、前記レーザービームによる前記1つ以上の露光領域への各々の来訪の間に所定の時間を経過させ、前記所定の時間は、前記1つ以上の露光領域内に酸素を補充させることを可能とし、前記1つ以上の露光領域への各々の来訪の間に、十分な酸素を用いて所望の量の架橋活性を発生させることを可能とする、システム。
  2. 前記光源は、前記レーザービームについての出力を調整するように動作可能であり、前記走査パターンは、前記レーザービームについての前記出力に従って最適化される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
  3. 前記走査システムは、前記角膜上を前記レーザービームが移動するにつれて前記レーザービームの速度を調整するように動作可能であり、前記走査パターンは、前記レーザービームの前記速度に従って最適化される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
  4. 前記光活性化光を受け、前記レーザービームについてのスポットサイズを調整するように構成された1つ以上の光学素子をさらに含み、前記走査パターンは、前記レーザービームについての前記スポットサイズに従って最適化される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
  5. 前記走査システムは、検流計対を含み、前記検流計対が、前記レーザービームを第1の軸に沿って移動させるように構成された第1のミラーと、前記レーザービームを第2の軸に沿って移動させるように構成された第2のミラーと、を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
  6. 前記走査パターンは、前記レーザービームを、前記1つ以上の露光領域に、1つ以上の隣接する領域を前記光活性化光に露光されない状態に維持させながら来訪させ、前記隣接する未露光の各領域は、前記1つ以上の露光領域内の酸素が補充される速度を決定する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
  7. 前記走査パターンは、デューティサイクルに従う前記レーザービームのパルス化により規定され、前記走査システムが前記角膜上で前記レーザービームを走査するにつれて、前記パルス化が、前記レーザービームが前記デューティサイクル中のオンであるときに、前記レーザービームを前記1つ以上の露光領域に来訪させ、その一方で、前記レーザービームが前記デューティサイクル中のオフであるときに、隣接する領域が前記光活性化光に露光されないようにさせており、そして前記隣接する未露光領域が、前記1つ以上の露光領域内の酸素が補充される速度を決定する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
  8. 前記走査パターンは、可変パルス周波数を使用し、各露光領域の4つの側面上に未露光のままの領域を残す、請求項7に記載のシステム。
  9. 前記レーザービームの前記パルス化は、前記走査パターン中の前記レーザービームの位置に応じて変化する周波数を有する、請求項7に記載のシステム。
  10. 前記1つ以上の露光領域は、前記走査パターンを規定する複数の離散的なドットに対応する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
