Description
芯線2の長手方向に沿って隣り合う被覆片3同士の間の間隔は、次のようにして測定できる。被覆片3の厚みの測定方法と同様、Al基線材1の縦断面において、3個以上の観察視野をとる。各観察視野のとり方と倍率とサイズとは、被覆片3の厚みの測定方法と同様である。各観察視野における隣り合う被覆片3同士の間の全ての間隔を測定する。隣り合う被覆片3同士の間の間隔は、隣り合う被覆片3同士の間の最小長さとする。測定した全ての間隔の平均値をとる。この平均値を、芯線2の長手方向に沿って隣り合う被覆片3同士の間の間隔とする。
第一層41の材質は、CuとSnとを有する。第一層41は、CuとSnとの合金を含んでいてもよい。第一層41は、実質的にCuとSnとで構成されていてもよい。実質的にCuとSnのみで構成されるとは、CuとSn以外に不可避的不純物を含むことを許容することをいう。第一層41におけるSnの含有量は、第二層42におけるSnの含有量よりも少ない。第一層41におけるCuとSnとの割合Cu:Snは、例えば、1:1以上5以下が挙げられ、更に、1:1.1以上3以下が挙げられ、特に、1:1.2以上2.5以下が挙げられる。
