Abstract
Description
実施形態の樹脂組成物は、ポリエステルポリオールと、リチウム部分固定型スメクタイトと、を含有する。
スメクタイトとは、層構造を有するフィロケイ酸塩鉱物(層状粘土鉱物)の一種である。スメクタイトの具体的な構造としては、モンモリロナイト、バイデライト、サポナイト、ヘクトライト、スティーブンサイト、ソーコナイト等の構造が知られている。これらのうち、粘土材料の構造としてはモンモリロナイト及びスティーブンサイトからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種が好ましい。これらの構造は、八面体シートの金属元素の一部に、低原子価金属元素との同型置換、欠陥等を有する。そのため、八面体シートが負に帯電している。その結果、これらの構造は八面体シートに空きサイトを有しており、これらの構造を有するスメクタイトでは、後述するようにリチウムイオンが移動後に安定して存在できる。
ポリエステルポリオールとしては、特に限定は無いが、ポリエステルポリオールの水酸基価は20mgKOH/g以上が好ましく、また、300mgKOH/g以下が好ましい。すなわち、ポリエステルポリオールとしては、水酸基価が20〜300mgKOH/gの範囲であるポリエステルポリオールが好ましい。水酸基価が20mgKOH/g以上であれば、分子量が適正な範囲となり、低粘度となるため、良好な塗工適正が得られやすい。水酸基価が300mgKOH/g以下であれば、硬化塗膜の架橋密度が好適となり、良好な接着強度が得られやすい。ポリエステルポリオールの酸価は200mgKOH/g以下であることが好ましい。酸価が200mgKOH/g以下であると、ポリイソシアネートとの反応が早くなり過ぎず、良好な塗工適性が得られる傾向がある。水酸基価はJIS−K0070に記載の水酸基価測定方法にて測定することができる。酸価はJIS−K0070に記載の酸価測定法にて、測定することができる。
・3個以上の水酸基を有するポリエステルポリオールに多価カルボン酸無水物又は多価カルボン酸を反応させることにより得られるポリエステルポリオール(A1)、
・重合性炭素−炭素二重結合を有するポリエステルポリオール(A2)、
・グリセロール骨格を有するポリエステルポリオール(A3)、
・オルト配向多価カルボン酸成分と、多価アルコール成分と、を重縮合して得られるポリエステルポリオール(A4)、及び
・イソシアヌル環を有するポリエステルポリオール(A5)
を挙げることができる。ポリエステルポリオール(A1)は、3個以上の水酸基を有するポリエステルポリオールと多価カルボン酸無水物又は多価カルボン酸との重縮合物と言い換えてよい。ポリエステルポリオール(A4)は、オルト配向多価カルボン酸成分と、多価アルコール成分との重縮合物と言い換えてよい。
ポリエステルポリオール(A1)は、好ましくは、少なくとも1個のカルボキシ基と2個以上の水酸基を有する。
ポリエステルポリオール(A2)は、多価カルボン酸と多価アルコールとを反応させることにより得られる。多価カルボン酸及び多価アルコールのうち少なくとも一方の成分として重合性炭素−炭素二重結合をもつ成分を使用することにより、分子内に重合成炭素−炭素二重結合を有するポリエステルポリオール(A2)が得られる。

ポリエステルポリオール(A3)として、具体的には、下記一般式(1)で表されるグリセロール骨格を有するポリエステルポリオールを挙げることができる。ポリエステルポリオールがグリセロール骨格、特に下記一般式(1)で表されるグリセロール骨格を有する場合、水蒸気バリア性及び酸素バリア性がより一層優れたものとなる。

P:ポリエステルポリオール(A3)を表す。
ポリエステルポリオール(A4)を構成するオルト配向多価カルボン酸成分は、好ましくはオルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及び/又はその無水物であり、より好ましくはオルトフタル酸及び/又はその無水物である。すなわち、ポリエステルポリオール(A4)は、好ましくは、オルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物のうちの少なくとも1種を含む多価カルボン酸と、多価アルコールとの重縮合物であり、より好ましくは、オルトフタル酸及びその無水物のうちの少なくとも1種を含む多価カルボン酸と、多価アルコールとの重縮合物である。このようなポリエステルポリオール(A4)は、例えば、構造単位として、オルトフタル酸及びその無水物を少なくとも1種以上含む多価カルボン酸成分と、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、ネオペンチルグリコール、及びシクロヘキサンジメタノールからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む多価アルコール成分と、を含む。特に、前記オルトフタル酸及びその無水物の、多価カルボン酸全成分に対する構造単位比率が50〜100質量%であるポリエステルポリオールが好ましい。
ポリエステルポリオール(A5)は、下記一般式(3)で表されるイソシアヌル環を有するポリエステルポリオール(A5)を含むと更に好ましい。
イソシアヌル環の含有量={[(P 1分子中に含まれるイソシアヌル環モル数)×126.05/(P の数平均分子量)]×(Pの使用質量)/(樹脂組成物全固形分の質量)}×100 (c)
P:イソシアヌル環を有するポリエステルポリオール(A5)を表す。
樹脂組成物の全質量から、希釈溶剤質量、硬化剤に含まれる揮発成分質量、無機成分を除く質量を樹脂組成物中の樹脂組成物全固形分の質量とする。
実施形態のポリエステルポリオールは、多価カルボン酸及び/又はその無水物と多価アルコールを反応させる方法等、公知のポリエステルの製造方法により得ることができる。具体的には、触媒共存下、反応温度200〜220℃で、生成する水を系外へ取り除きながら反応させる製造方法にて合成できる。

実施形態の樹脂組成物は、ポリエステルポリオールと反応する硬化剤を更に含有してもよい。硬化剤は、ポリエステルポリオールの水酸基及び/又は一部に残存するカルボン酸と反応しうる硬化剤であれば特に限定はなく、ポリイソシアネート、エポキシ化合物等の公知の硬化剤を使用できる。硬化剤は1種を単独で用いてよく、複数種を併用してもよい。
実施形態の樹脂組成物は、使用用途に応じて溶剤を含有してもよい。溶剤としては有機溶剤が挙げられ、例えばメチルエチルケトン、アセトン、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、トルエン、ジメチルホルムアミド、アセトニトリル、メチルイソブチルケトン、メタノール、エタノール、イソプロピルアルコール、ジアセトンアルコール、メトキシプロパノール、シクロヘキサノン、メチルセロソルブ、エチルジグリコールアセテート、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート等が挙げられる。溶剤の種類及び使用量は、使用用途によって適宜選択すればよい。
実施形態の樹脂組成物は、ガスバリア性を損なわない範囲で、各種の添加剤(ポリエステルポリオール、リチウム部分固定型スメクタイト、硬化剤、及び修飾剤に該当する化合物は除く。)を含有してもよい。添加剤としては、例えば、有機フィラー、無機フィラー、安定剤(酸化防止剤、熱安定剤、紫外線吸収剤等)、可塑剤、帯電防止剤、滑剤、ブロッキング防止剤、着色剤、結晶核剤、酸素捕捉剤(酸素捕捉機能を有する化合物)、粘着付与剤等が例示できる。これらの各種添加剤は単独で又は二種以上組み合わせて使用される。
実施形態の成形体は、上記樹脂組成物を成形して得られる成形体である。成形体は上記樹脂組成物の硬化物からなっていてよい。成形方法は公知慣用の方法を用いればよく、用途によって適時選択すればよい。成形体の形状に制限はなく、板状であってよく、シート状であってもよく、フィルム状であってもよい。成形体は、立体形状を有していてもよく、基材に塗布されたものであってもよく、基材と基材の間に存在する形で成形されたものであってもよい。
樹脂をテトラヒドロフラン(THF)によって50倍希釈して得られた希釈液をフィルター(材質:ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポア径:0.2μm)で濾過することにより、測定サンプルを調製した。次に、この測定サンプルをゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフ(GPC東ソー社製商品名「HLC−8220GPC」)に供給して、サンプル流量1ミリリットル/min、カラム温度40℃の条件で測定を行った。樹脂のポリスチレン換算分子量を測定して得られた値を、樹脂の数平均分子量とした。なお、上記GPC測定において、カラムとして、HXL−X、G5000HXL、G3000HXL、G2000HXL、G2000HXL(いずれも東ソー株式会社製)を用い、検出器として示差屈折計を用いた。
実施例における酸価の測定は、JIS−K0070に記載の酸価測定方法にて行った。
実施例における水酸基価の測定は、JIS−K0070に記載の水酸基価測定方法にて行った。
攪拌機、窒素ガス導入管、精留管、水分器等を備えたポリエステル反応容器に、4ーメチルヘキサヒドロ無水フタル酸(リカシッドMH、新日本理化(株)製)500部、エチレングリコール269.54部及びチタニウムテトライソプロポキシドを仕込んだ。チタニウムテトライソプロポキシドの仕込み量は、多価カルボン酸と多価アルコールとの合計量に対して100ppmとなる量とした。次いで、精留管上部温度が100℃を超えないように徐々に加熱して内温を220℃に保持した。酸価が2mgKOH/g以下になったところでエステル化反応を終了し、酸価が0.6mgKOH/gであり、水酸基価が183mgKOH/gであり、数平均分子量が612であるポリエステルポリオール「樹脂(A)」を得た。このポリエステルポリオールでの多価カルボン酸全成分に対するオルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物の使用率は0%である。
攪拌機、窒素ガス導入管、スナイダー管及びコンデンサーを備えたポリエステル反応容器に、グリセロールを276.27部、無水フタル酸を740.7部、エチレングリコールを715.09部、及びチタニウムテトライソプロポキシドを0.19部仕込み、精留管上部温度が100℃を超えないように徐々に加熱して内温を220℃に保持した。酸価が1mgKOH/g以下になったところでエステル化反応を終了し、酸価が1.0mgKOH/gであり、水酸基価が213mgKOH/gであり、数平均分子量が2380であるポリエステルポリオール「樹脂(B)」を得た。このポリエステルポリオールでの多価カルボン酸全成分に対するオルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物の使用率は100%であり、グリセロールとエチレングリコールとのモル比は1:0.71である。
攪拌機、窒素ガス導入管、スナイダー管及びコンデンサーを備えたポリエステル反応容器に、グリセロールを234.24部、エチレングリコールを555.01部、無水フタル酸を1280.97部、及びチタニウムテトライソプロポキシドを0.20部仕込み、精留管上部温度が100℃を超えないように徐々に加熱して内温を220℃に保持した。酸価が1mgKOH/g以下になったところでエステル化反応を終了し、酸価が1.0mgKOH/gであり、水酸基価が194mgKOH/gであり、数平均分子量が578であるポリエステルポリオール「樹脂(C)」を得た。このポリエステルポリオールでの多価カルボン酸全成分に対するオルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物の使用率は100%であり、グリセロールとエチレングリコールとのモル比は1:3である。
攪拌機、窒素ガス導入管、スナイダー管及びコンデンサーを備えたポリエステル反応容器に、グリセロールを493.7部、及び無水フタル酸を756.3部仕込み、精留管上部温度が100℃を超えないように徐々に加熱して内温を190℃に保持した。酸価が40mgKOH/g以下になったところで、さらに無水フタル酸135.3部を仕込み、酸価が75mgKOH/g以下になったところでエステル化反応を終了した。これにより、酸価が70.9mgKOH/gであり、水酸基価が173mgKOH/gであり、数平均分子量が649であるポリエステルポリオール「樹脂(D)」を得た。このポリエステルポリオールでの多価カルボン酸全成分に対するオルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物の使用率は100%である。
攪拌機、窒素ガス導入管、スナイダー管及びコンデンサーを備えたポリエステル反応容器に、エチレングリコールを702部、無水フタル酸を912.2部、アジピン酸を385.7部、及びチタニウムテトライソプロポキシドを0.14部仕込み、精留管上部温度が100℃を超えないように徐々に加熱して内温を220℃に保持した。酸価が1mgKOH/g以下になったところでエステル化反応を終了し、酸価が1.0mgKOH/gであり、水酸基価が140mgKOH/gであり、数平均分子量が803.4であるポリエステルポリオール「樹脂(E)」を得た。このポリエステルポリオールでの、無水フタル酸とアジピン酸のモル比は7:3であり、多価カルボン酸全成分に対するオルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物の使用率は70%である。
攪拌機、窒素ガス導入管、スナイダー管及びコンデンサーを備えたポリエステル反応容器に、エチレングリコールを714.12部、無水フタル酸を1285.88部仕込み、精留管上部温度が100℃を超えないように徐々に加熱して内温を220℃に保持した。酸価が1mgKOH/g以下になったところでエステル化反応を終了し、酸価が1.0mgKOH/gであり、水酸基価が126mgKOH/gであり、数平均分子量が891であるポリエステルポリオール「樹脂(F)」を得た。このポリエステルポリオールでの多価カルボン酸全成分に対するオルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物の使用率は100%である。
樹脂組成物に含有させるフィラーとして、以下のリチウム部分固定型スメクタイト及びリチウム部分固定でないスメクタイトを用意した。
(リチウム部分固定型スメクタイト)
・クニミネ工業株式会社製のモンモリロナイト分散液A(モンモリロナイトの陽イオン交換容量(CEC):39.0meq/100g、固形分量:20質量%)
・クニミネ工業株式会社製のモンモリロナイト分散液B(モンモリロナイトの陽イオン交換容量(CEC):24.5meq/100g、固形分量:20質量%)
・クニミネ工業株式会社製のモンモリロナイト分散液C(モンモリロナイトの陽イオン交換容量(CEC):59.2meq/100g、固形分量:20質量%)
(リチウム部分固定でないスメクタイト)
・天然モンモリロナイト(商品名:クニピアF、モンモリロナイトの陽イオン交換容量(CEC):108meq/100g、クニミネ工業株式会社製)
製造例1で得た樹脂(A)100部に対して、モンモリロナイト分散液Aを110部、アセトンを300部、2−プロパノールを93部、並びに、事前に2時間撹拌した、3−メタクリロイルプロピルトリメトキシシラン(商品名:KBM−503、信越化学工業株式会社製)1.5部、水0.4部、2−プロパノール77部及び0.1mol/lの塩酸0.1部からなるシランカップリング剤溶液を79部加え、8時間撹拌保持した。これにより実施例1の塗工液を得た。得られた塗工液を12μmのPETフィルム(東洋紡(株)製 「E−5100」)のコロナ処理面にバーコーターを用いて乾燥後塗工厚みが2μmになるように塗工し、塗工後直ぐに120℃の乾燥機中で1分加熱した。その後、130℃の乾燥機中で2時間加熱処理して積層フィルムを得た。この塗工液及び積層フィルムにおけるフィラー含有量は樹脂組成物中の不揮発分全量に対して18質量%であり、シランカップリング剤の含有量はフィラーの全質量に対して5質量%である。
製造例1で得た樹脂(A)100部に対して、モンモリロナイト分散液Aを208部、アセトンを300部、2−プロパノールを64部、並びに、事前に2時間撹拌した、3−メタクリロイルプロピルトリメトキシシラン(商品名:KBM−503、信越化学工業株式会社製)2.9部、水0.8部、2−プロパノール146.1部及び0.1mol/lの塩酸0.2部からなるシランカップリング剤溶液を150部加え、8時間撹拌保持した。次いで、TMP−XDI(キシリレンジイソシアネート−トリメチロールプロパンアダクト体、商品名:タケネートD−110N、三井化学製、固形分量:75質量%)122部を加えた。これにより実施例2の塗工液を得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、積層フィルムを得た。この塗工液及び積層フィルムにおけるフィラー含有量は樹脂組成物中の不揮発分全量に対して18質量%であり、シランカップリング剤の含有量はフィラーの全質量に対して5質量%である。
製造例2で得た樹脂(B)をメチルエチルケトン(MEK)にて固形分75質量%に希釈して得られた樹脂溶液100部に対して、モンモリロナイト分散液Aを160部、アセトニトリルを288部、水を32部、2−プロパノールを64部、並びに、事前に2時間撹拌した、3−メタクリロイルプロピルトリメトキシシラン(商品名:KBM−503、信越化学工業株式会社製)4.8部、水1.3部、2−プロパノール32部及び0.1mol/lの塩酸0.7部からなるシランカップリング剤溶液を70.8部加え、8時間撹拌保持した。次いで、TMP−XDI(キシリレンジイソシアネート−トリメチロールプロパンアダクト体、商品名:タケネートD―110N、三井化学製、固形分量:75質量%)95部を加えた。これにより実施例3の塗工液を得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、積層フィルムを得た。この塗工液及び積層フィルムにおけるフィラー含有量は樹脂組成物中の不揮発分全量に対して18質量%であり、シランカップリング剤の含有量はフィラーの全質量に対して11質量%である。
シランカップリング剤溶液を用いなかったこと、及び、各成分の配合量を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、実施例4の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして実施例4の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
シランカップリング剤溶液の組成及び各成分の配合量を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、実施例5〜9の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例5〜9の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
溶媒として水を用いなかったこと、シランカップリング剤溶液の組成及び各成分の配合量を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、実施例10及び11の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例10及び11の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
シランカップリング剤溶液におけるシランカップリング剤成分として、3−メタクリロイルプロピルトリメトキシシランに代えて、3−グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン(商品名:KBM−403、信越化学工業株式会社製)又はn−プロピルトリメトキシシラン(商品名:KBM−3033、信越化学工業株式会社製)を用いたこと、及び、各成分の配合量を表2に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、実施例12〜15の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例12〜15の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
溶媒の種類を変更したこと、硬化剤として、TMP−XDIに代えて、TMP−TDI(トリレンジイソシアネート−トリメチロールプロパンアダクト体、商品名:KW−75、DIC(株)製、固形分量:75質量%)又はm−XDI(メタキシリレンジイソシアネート、商品名:タケネート500、三井化学(株)製)を用いたこと、及び、各成分の配合量を表2に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、実施例16及び17の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例16及び17の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
シランカップリング剤溶液に代えてプレンアクト41B(味の素ファインテクノ株式会社製、商品名)又はLS−7150(信越化学工業株式会社製)、商品名、ヘキサメチルジシラザン)を用いたこと、及び、各成分の配合量を表2に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、実施例18及び19の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例18及び19の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
モンモリロナイト分散液Aに代えてモンモリロナイト分散液B又はモンモリロナイト分散液Cを用いたこと以外は実施例3と同様にして、実施例20及び21の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例20及び21の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
樹脂(B)に代えて製造例3〜6で得た樹脂(C)、樹脂(D)、樹脂(E)又は樹脂(F)を用いたこと、並びに、樹脂溶液の溶媒の種類及び各成分の配合量を表3に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、実施例22〜25の塗工液をそれぞれ得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例22〜25の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。
製造例1で得た樹脂(A)100部に対して、アセトン213部を加え1時間撹拌した。次いで、TMP−XDI(キシリレンジイソシアネート−トリメチロールプロパンアダクト体、商品名:タケネートD―110N、三井化学製)121部を加え、比較例1の塗工液を得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、積層フィルムを得た。
製造例2で得た樹脂(B)をメチルエチルケトンにて固形分25質量%に希釈して得られた樹脂溶液300部に対して、TMP−XDI(キシリレンジイソシアネート−トリメチロールプロパンアダクト体、商品名:タケネートD―110N、三井化学製)93部を加え、比較例2の塗工液を得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、比較例2の積層フィルムを得た。
樹脂溶液部に対して、TMP−XDIを加える前に、天然モンモリロナイト30.9部を加え8時間撹拌保持したこと以外は比較例2と同様にして、比較例3の塗工液を得た。得られた塗工液を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、比較例3の積層フィルムを得た。
実施例及び比較例の積層フィルムを用いて積層フィルムの酸素透過率及び水蒸気透過率を、以下に示す方法で測定した。評価結果を表1〜3に示す。
積層フィルムの酸素透過率を、モコン社製酸素透過率測定装置OX−TRAN1/50を用いてJIS−K7126(等圧法)に準じ、23℃0%RH、及び、90%RHの雰囲気下で測定した。なおRHとは、湿度を表す。
水蒸気透過率:
積層フィルムの水蒸気透過率を、「防湿包装材料の透過湿度試験方法」JIS Z 0208 に準じ、透湿カップを用いて40℃90%RHの雰囲気下で測定した。
Claims (14)
- ポリエステルポリオールと、リチウム部分固定型スメクタイトとを含有する、樹脂組成物。
- 硬化剤を更に含有する、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記硬化剤が、ポリイソシアネートである、請求項2に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリエステルポリオールの水酸基価が20〜300mgKOH/gである、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリエステルポリオールが、オルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸及びその無水物のうちの少なくとも1種を含む多価カルボン酸と、多価アルコールとの重縮合物である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリエステルポリオールがグリセロール骨格を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- カップリング剤を更に含有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記リチウム部分固定型スメクタイトの陽イオン交換容量が1〜70meq/100gである、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記リチウム部分固定型スメクタイトの含有量が、前記樹脂組成物中の不揮発分全量に対し、3〜50質量%である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物の成形体。
- 基材と、該基材上に設けられた請求項10に記載の成形体と、を備える積層体。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物を含むガスバリア材。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物を含むコーティング材。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物を含む接着剤。
