Abstract
従来の空気清浄機よりも単位体積当りの空気浄化能力を向上させ、ひいては性能が同等な場合にはより小さな消費電力で動作する新規な空気清浄機並びにそれを含む加湿機及び消臭機が開示されている。空気清浄機は、円板と、円板を回転させるためのモータと、円板上に設けられ、円板の回転中心を含む内側領域を囲包する、全体として円筒形のフィルターAであって、円板の半径方向に凹凸が形成されるように波状に曲折されたフィルターAと、円板上に設けられ、フィルターAの内側又は外側又は内外両側に設けられた少なくとも1種の空気抵抗体とを具備する。

該円板上に設けられ、該円板の回転中心を含む内側領域を囲包する、全体として円筒形のフィルターAであって、該円板の半径方向に凹凸が形成されるように波状に曲折されたフィルターAと、
前記円板上に設けられ、前記フィルターAの内側又は外側又は内外両側に設けられた少なくとも1種の空気抵抗体と、
を具備する、空気清浄機を提供する。
aは、端板の厚さ0.2〜1.5mm程度、好ましくは厚さ0.7mmの紙あるいはポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエチレン等のプラスチックのシート、
bは、端板の厚さ0.2〜1mm程度、好ましくは厚さ0.5mmのホットメルト接着剤やポリエチレン等の比較的融点の低い(80〜150℃程度)シート、
cは、円板の厚さ1〜3mm程度、好ましくは厚さ2mm、
dとeは、フィルターの高さ5〜500mm程度、好ましくは高さ80〜200mm程度、
fは、翼の高さ5〜500mm程度、好ましくは高さ80〜200mm程度、
gは、翼の幅5〜300mm程度、好ましくは幅60〜150mm程度、
hは、翼とフィルターの間隙0〜50mm程度、好ましくは5〜10mm程度、
iとkは、フィルターの幅10〜100mm程度、好ましくは幅20〜40mm程度、
jは、フィルターとフィルターの間隙0〜50mm程度、好ましくは5〜10mm程度、
mは、フィルターユニットの外径Φ50〜1000mm程度、好ましくは外径Φ200〜500mm程度、
を示す。
bの厚さで示される層に円板とフィルターがそれぞれ重なっているのは、bの層が溶着時に熱で溶けて円板やフィルターが食い込んでいるためである。
高さf、幅gで示される翼が平行四辺形になっているのは、射出成型時の抜き勾配のためである。翼の形状は平行四辺形の平板に限定されるものではなく、図11における翼の左端の線のように台形でもよいし、平板ではなく一般的なシロッコファンの翼形状のように湾曲していてもよい。向きも回転軸を中心とした半径線に沿う必要はなく、半径線に対して傾いていてもよい。
特許文献3記載の空気清浄機と本願発明の試作機(図14〜16に示す実施例)で集塵性能の比較試験を行った。特許文献3記載の空気清浄機内の円筒形フィルターは、外形Φ310mm、内径Φ260mm、フィルターの高さ73mmであり、本願発明の試作機の円筒形フィルターAは、外形Φ310mm、内径Φ234、フィルターの高さ73mm、円筒形フィルターBは、外形Φ224mm、内径Φ148mm、フィルターの高さ73mm、翼の外縁はΦ138mmの円周上にあり60°等分割で6枚、高さは73mmである。この本願発明試作機の各寸法を図11において説明すると、m=Φ310mm、k=38mm、j=5mm、i=38mm、h=5mm、g=29mm、p=73mmとなる。特許文献3記載の空気清浄機、又は本願発明の試作機を、幅4m×奥行4m×高さ1.875m=30m3のチャンバー内中央に設置し、チャンバー内を200CPMのタバコの煙で満たした後、特許文献3記載の空気清浄機、又は、本願発明試作機を運転した。高圧電極に印加した電圧は−16kVであった。

Claims (11)
- 円板と、
該円板を回転させるための手段と、
該円板上に設けられ、該円板の回転中心を含む内側領域を囲包する、全体として円筒形のフィルターAであって、該円板の半径方向に凹凸が形成されるように波状に曲折されたフィルターAと、
前記円板上に設けられ、前記フィルターAの内側又は外側又は内外両側に設けられた少なくとも1種の空気抵抗体と、
を具備する、空気清浄機。 - 前記空気抵抗体は、前記円板の半径方向に凹凸が形成されるように波状に曲折された、全体として円筒形のフィルターBであって、該フィルターBは、前記円板の回転中心を含む内側領域を囲包し、前記フィルターAの内側に設けられる、請求項1記載の空気清浄機。
- 前記フィルターBの空気抵抗は、前記フィルターAの空気抵抗以下である、請求項2記載の空気清浄機。
- 前記空気抵抗体は、前記円板上に設けられた1又は複数枚の翼である、請求項1記載の空気清浄機。
- さらなる空気抵抗体として、前記円板上に設けられた1又は複数枚の翼をさらに具備する請求項2又は3記載の空気清浄機。
- 前記空気抵抗体は、連続気泡構造体であり、フィルターAの内側、又はフィルターBが設けられる場合にはフィルターBの内側に設けられる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の空気清浄機。
- 前記連続気泡構造体の空気抵抗は、フィルターBが設けられない場合にはフィルターAの空気抵抗以下であり、フィルターBが設けられる場合には、フィルターBの空気抵抗以下である請求項6記載の空気清浄機。
- 前記円板の回転中心近傍であって、前記フィルターA及び前記フィルターBよりも内側において、前記円板に1又は複数の開口が設けられている、請求項2〜7のいずれか1項に記載の空気清浄機。
- 電極と、
該電極と、前記円板、前記フィルターA及び前記少なくとも1種の空気抵抗体の少なくともいずれかとの間に電圧を印加する手段と
を具備し、かつ、
前記電極は、該電極と、前記円板、前記フィルターA及び前記少なくとも1種の空気抵抗体の少なくともいずれかとの間で連続的にコロナ放電を行うものである、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の空気清浄機。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の空気清浄機を含み、かつ、該空気清浄機内の少なくとも前記フィルターAに水分を保持させた空気加湿機。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の空気清浄機を含み、かつ、該空気清浄機内の少なくとも前記フィルターAに消臭成分を保持させた空気消臭機。
