<作用>
本発明において最も重要な点は、特定の組成からなるフェライト焼結体、フェライト焼結板又はフェライト焼結シートは、μ′が高く、μ″が低く、更にμ′の温度変化が小さいという事実である。これらにより、アンテナのインダクタンスが大きくなり、その損失が小さくなるので、交信感度を高めることができる。更に、μ′の温度変化が小さいので、屋外での使用において外気温度の変化によるインダクタンスの変化が小さくなり、安定した交信が可能となる。また、本発明のフェライト焼結板は、その密度が高く、緻密な微細構造を有しているので、取り扱いの際に割れにくく、生産性を向上することができる。
フェライトの組成が、所定の組成になるように各酸化物原料を秤量し、ボールミルを用いて20時間湿式混合を行った後、混合スラリーを濾別・乾燥して原料混合粉末を得た。該原料混合粉末を720℃で3時間焼成して得られた仮焼成物をボールミルで粉砕し、本発明に係るNi−Zn−Cu−Coフェライト粉末を得た。なお、Sは原料Fe2O3を製造する際に使用した硫酸鉄に由来するものである。
実施例1と同様の方法で、フェライト焼結板及びフェライト焼結シートを得た。この時の製造条件及び得られたフェライト焼結板及びフェライト焼結シートの緒特性を表1に示す。

- 酸化物換算で47.5〜49.8mol%のFe2O3、13.5〜19.5mol%のNiO、21〜27mol%のZnO、7.5〜12.5mol%のCuO、0.2〜0.8mol%のCoOからなる組成を有するフェライト焼結体であって、更に0.2〜1.4wt%のSnO2と0.005〜0.03wt%のSを含有することを特徴とするフェライト焼結体。
