Claims (5)
- ブラシレス形式の電動モータと、前記電動モータにより回転駆動される液体ポンプとを一体に組み合わせて構成される電動ポンプであって、
前記電動モータが、モータケースと、前記モータケースの内部に形成されたケース内部空間に配設されるとともに前記モータケースにより回転自在に支持されたモータ駆動軸と、前記モータ駆動軸上に設けられたロータと、前記ロータを円周方向外方から囲んで対向するように前記ケース内部空間内に位置して前記モータケースに取り付けられたステータとから構成され、
前記ステータへの通電制御を行って、前記ロータを介して前記モータ駆動軸を回転駆動させる制御を行う通電制御手段を備え、
前記通電制御手段が、
前記モータ駆動軸の回転が外部から入力される回転指令に応じた回転となるように前記ステータへの通電制御を行う通常制御モードと、
前記通常制御モードにより通電制御を行うときの前記ステータの発熱効率よりも高い発熱効率で前記ステータを発熱させるように前記ステータへの通電制御を行う発熱制御モードとを備えることを特徴とする電動ポンプ。 - 前記ロータは、前記ステータと対向する表面に永久磁石を備えて構成され、
前記ステータは、ステータコイルを備えて構成され、
前記通電制御手段は、前記ステータコイルへの通電制御を行うように構成されており、
前記発熱制御モードは、前記ステータコイルの抵抗をR、前記ステータコイルのインダクタンスをL、前記ステータコイルに印加される電圧の周波数をf、前記ステータコイルに印加される電圧の実効値をVRMS、前記ステータコイルに流すことができる最大の電流をIMaxとしたとき、式
を満たす電圧の周波数fのうちで、略最小の電圧の周波数fとなるように前記ステータコイルへの通電制御を行うモードであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動ポンプ。 - 前記液体ポンプを回転駆動させることにより前記液体ポンプから供給される液体の温度を検出する温度検出器を備え、
前記通電制御手段は、前記温度検出器により検出される液体の温度が所定の温度よりも低い場合に、前記発熱制御モードにより前記ステータへの通電制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項1もしくは2に記載の電動ポンプ。 - 前記電動モータの回転速度を検出する回転速度検出器を備え、
前記通電制御手段は、所定の通電パターンで前記ステータに通電させる制御を行って、前記ロータを前記通常制御モードによる通電制御が可能な回転状態にする起動制御モードをさらに備えており、
前記通電制御手段は、前記起動制御モードによる通電制御を行ったときに前記回転速度検出器により検出される前記ロータの回転速度が所定の回転速度よりも低い場合に、前記発熱制御モードにより前記ステータへの通電制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項1もしくは2に記載の電動ポンプ。 - 前記電動モータが、前記ロータと前記ステータとが対向する間を延び、前記ケース内部空間を前記モータ駆動軸および前記ロータが配設されるロータ側空間と前記ステータが配設されるステータ側空間とに仕切る仕切り部材を備えて構成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の電動ポンプ。
