Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の一実施例であるチップ着脱式盛上げタップ(以下、単に盛上げタップともいう)10を示す図で、(a) は軸心Oと直角方向から見た正面図、(b) はチップ14を含む先端部分の拡大断面図、(c) はチップ14の先端側から見た端面図である。また、図2は、盛上げタップ10のチップ14とボデー12との連結構造を拡大して示す図で、(a) は図1(a) に対応する正面図、(b) は(a) におけるIIB −IIB 断面図である。
《試験条件》
・呼び:M14×1.5 ・下穴:φ13.3 ・被転造材料:SCM440 ・被転造材硬さ:30HRC ・油剤:水溶性 ・回転数(毎分):560
Claims (6)
- 軸形状を成しており、軸心Oと同心にねじ穴が設けられるとともに該ねじ穴に連通するように流体供給路が設けられたボデーと、
該ボデーの先端部に同心に着脱可能に取り付けられ、該ボデーと共に前記軸心Oまわりに回転駆動されることにより所定の加工を行うとともに、自身の軸心に取付穴が貫通して設けられたチップと、
該チップの取付穴を貫通して前記ボデーのねじ穴に螺合されることにより、該チップを該ボデーに一体的に固定する取付ねじと、
を有するチップ着脱式回転工具において、
前記ボデーおよび前記チップの対向面の一方および他方には、断面が前記軸心Oに対してそれぞれ対称的な三角形状の回止めキーおよびキー溝が該軸心Oと直交する方向に設けられ、前記取付ねじによって締結されることにより該回止めキーの一対の側面と該キー溝の一対の側壁とが互いに密着して面接触させられるとともに、
該回止めキーの一対の側面および該キー溝の一対の側壁の共通の全角αは60°〜100°の範囲内で、該キー溝の溝底には1.5mm〜2.8mmの範囲内の半径RAで丸みが設けられ、該キー溝の両側の開口端縁の角部および該回止めキーの基端両側部の角部には、それぞれ1.5mm〜2.8mmの範囲内の半径RB、RCで丸みが設けられている一方、
前記流体供給路から前記ねじ穴内へ供給された流体を前記チップ側へ導く流体導入路が設けられており、該チップの軸方向の中央よりも先端側から前記流体を外周側へ吐出する先端側吐出通路、および該中央よりも基端側から該流体を外周側へ吐出する基端側吐出通路を有する
ことを特徴とするチップ着脱式回転工具。 - 前記回止めキーは前記チップの対向面に設けられているとともに、該回止めキーの先端には前記キー溝の底部から離間する退避面が設けられており、該退避面と該キー溝との間の隙間が前記基端側吐出通路として機能する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のチップ着脱式回転工具。 - 前記退避面と前記キー溝の底部との間の隙間寸法dは0.2mm〜0.5mmの範囲内である
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のチップ着脱式回転工具。 - 前記チップの先端面には前記取付ねじの頭部を収容する収容穴が設けられており、該収容穴の開口部に連続して外周縁に達するように径方向溝が設けられるとともに、該収容穴の内壁面と該頭部の外周面との間に該径方向溝に連通する軸方向通路が設けられ、該軸方向通路および該径方向溝が前記先端側吐出通路として機能する
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のチップ着脱式回転工具。 - 前記チップはめねじを加工するタップで、外周面にはねじ山が設けられており、該チップの軸方向の中央よりも基端側であって該チップの基端側から該ねじ山の2ピッチ以下の範囲内には、前記取付穴から外部に貫通する径方向穴が設けられ、該径方向穴が前記基端側吐出通路として機能する
ことを特徴とする請求項1または4に記載のチップ着脱式回転工具。 - 前記回止めキーおよび前記キー溝は、何れもワイヤーカット放電加工によって所定の断面形状に形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載のチップ着脱式回転工具。
