Claims (4)
- 浸炭焼入れされた金属部品に対してショットを投射するショットピーニング方法において、
前記投射されるショットには、ショットピーニングを施す前の前記金属部品の表層部に生成されている表面異常層の硬度と、その表面異常層の直下のマルテンサイト組織の硬度との間の範囲の硬度を有するショットを用いるショットピーニング方法。 - 請求項1の方法において、前記ショットの硬度は、Hv硬度で430と850との間の範囲である方法。
- 請求項2の方法において、前記ショットの平均粒径が20μm以上3mm未満である方法。
- 浸炭焼入れされた結果、表層部には表面異常層が生成され、その表面異常層の直下にはマルテンサイト組織を有する金属部品に対し、前記表面異常層を削食するためにショットを投射するショットピーニング方法であって、
前記金属部品における前記表面異常層の硬度である第1の硬度及び前記マルテンサイト組織の硬度である第2の硬度を実験的に又は経験的に求める段階と、
前記投射すべきショットとして、第1の硬度と第2の硬度との間の範囲の硬度を有するショットを選択する段階と、
前記選択されたショットを前記金属部品へ投射する段階とを含む方法。
