表1に記載の水溶液200gを、それぞれ底面の直径70mmのビーカーに入れ、−10℃で24時間放置した後、凍結防止性を観察し、以下の判定基準で評価した。なお、一般に最も滑りやすい凍結表面の温度は、−10℃〜−7℃であるので、その温度で実験を行った。この結果を表1及び表2に記す。
リチウムシリケート :
Li2O・n'SiO2(n':3.4〜3.6)、日本化学工業(株)社製
ナトリウムシリケート:
Na2O・n''SiO2(n'':3.0〜3.3)、日本化学工業(株)社製
カリウムシリケート :
K2O・nSiO2(n:1.8〜2.2)、日本化学工業(株)社製
なお、表中のシリケートの含有%は、シリケート単品固形分質量換算であり、アルカリ金属塩の含有%は無水塩換算である。

底面が直径70mmの円である円柱状プラスチック容器に200gの水を入れ、−10℃の恒温槽で水を全て凍らせ、全体の重量(m0)を測定した。得られた氷面上にカリウムシリケートを固形分換算で56%含有する水溶液(これを「水溶液No.47」とする)を40g注ぎ、−10℃に1時間放置した。
表1に記載の水溶液に代えて、表4に記載の水溶液を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、凍結防止性を評価した。その結果を表4に示す。
表1に記載の水溶液に代えて、表4に記載の水溶液を用いた以外は、実施例2と同様にして、融氷量を求めた。その結果を表5に示す。
(1)34.2‰の塩化ナトリウム水溶液を調製した。この塩化ナトリウム水溶液と水とを、10:0、8:2、6:4、4:6、2:8の割合で混合して比較水溶液とした。一方、実施例3の、No.48〜53の各水溶液と、上記塩化ナトリウム水溶液とを、10:0、8:2、6:4、4:6、2:8の割合で混合して試験用水溶液とした。

試験用水溶液は、No.48〜53の各水溶液:34.2‰NaCl水溶液
の混合比率を示す。

Claims (21)
- カリウムシリケートを有効成分として含有する融雪・凍結防止剤。
- カリウムシリケートが、次の一般式
K2O・nSiO2
(式中、nは1〜5の数を示す)
で表されるものである請求項1記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。 - 更に、アルカリ金属塩を含有する請求項1又は請求項2記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- アルカリ金属塩がカリウム塩である請求項3記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- アルカリ金属塩が、炭酸カリウム、酢酸カリウム又は酢酸ナトリウムである請求項3又は請求項4記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- 更に、低級アルコールを含有する請求項1ないし請求項5の何れかの項記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- 低級アルコールがエタノールである請求項6記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- カリウムシリケート及び亜硝酸塩を有効成分として含有する融雪・凍結防止剤。
- カリウムシリケートが、次の一般式
K2O・nSiO2
(式中、nは1〜5の数を示す)
で表されるものである請求項8記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。 - 亜硝酸塩が亜硝酸ナトリウムである請求項8又は請求項9記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- 更に、アルカリ金属塩(亜硝酸塩を除く)を含有する請求項8ないし10の何れかの項記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- アルカリ金属塩(亜硝酸塩を除く)がカリウム塩である請求項11記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- アルカリ金属塩(亜硝酸塩を除く)が、炭酸カリウム、酢酸カリウム又は酢酸ナトリウムである請求項11又は請求項12記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- 更に、低級アルコールを含有する請求項8ないし請求項13の何れかの項記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- 低級アルコールがエタノールである請求項14記載の融雪・凍結防止剤。
- 請求項1ないし請求項15の何れかの請求項記載の融雪・凍結防止剤を、予め対象表面上へ散布することを特徴とする対象表面の凍結防止方法。
- 液状形態の融雪・凍結防止剤を液体散布装置により散布する請求項第16項記載の対象表面の凍結防止方法。
- 対象表面が道路、駐車場、滑走路又は駐機場である請求項16又は請求項17記載の対象表面の凍結防止方法。
- 請求項1ないし請求項15の何れかの請求項記載の融雪剤を、積雪ないしは凍結対象表面上へ散布することを特徴とする対象表面の融雪氷方法。
- 液状形態の融雪・凍結防止剤を液体散布装置により散布する請求項19記載の対象表面の融雪氷方法。
- 対象表面が道路、駐車場、滑走路又は駐機場である請求項19又は請求項20記載の対象表面の融雪氷方法。
