Description
Claims (7)
- 回転体と静止部との間にシール隙間を設け、前記回転体の回転により密封流体の漏洩を非接触で防止することのできる密封装置において、
前記シール隙間に移動可能な浮動リングを設けるとともに、この浮動リングが、その厚さ寸法を1とした場合、厚さ方向に対して直交する幅方向の長さ寸法を3以上とするように形成されていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 前記浮動リングが、熱可塑性樹脂および熱硬化性樹脂から選択された1種もしくは複数種の樹脂により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封装置。
- 前記浮動リングが、フッ素樹脂により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の密封装置。
- 前記浮動リングに、厚さ方向に対して直交する方向に沿って回転中心に向かう環状の切り込みが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の密封装置。
- 前記浮動リングの表面に凹凸模様が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の密封装置。
- 前記シール隙間および浮動リングが、軸方向両端を異径とする筒状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の密封装置。
- 前記回転体に回転体の少なくとも回転停止時における前記シール隙間からの密封流体の漏洩を防止するシール部材が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の密封装置。
