Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the hysteresis by providing a positive feedback circuit between clock terminals of noninverting and inverting phases. CONSTITUTION:The positive feedback circuit consists of transistors(TRs) Q9, Q11, a diode D, a constant current source 22 and a resistor RF. A signal at a drain of the TR Q9 is given to a gate of a TR Q6 to apply positive feedback and a current switching characteristic of clock differential pairs composed of TRs Q5, Q6 is improved. That is, in applying a voltage change of V5 to VCLK of the clock signal terminal 3, the change VCLK in the gate voltage of the TRs Q5, Q6 is expressed as VCLK= V5+ I9.RF, where I9 is the current change in the TR Q9 and no loss exists in the TR Q11 and the diode D. Thus, the change is increased by the I9.RF and the hysteresis is reduced considerably so as to attain steep changeover.
