Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a cheap ceramic superconductive base board with stable characteristic, wherein the superconductor is prevented from crack initiation, by forming ceramic superconductor of Y-Ba-Cu-O type on a Ni plate or a metal plate with Ni plating. CONSTITUTION:Powders of CuO, Y2O3, BaCO3 are mixed together and heat treated in oxygen, and the result is dispersed in an organic vehicle to form an ink. This is printed on a Ni plate by thick film method and heat treated to form a ceramic superconductive base board. The same ink is printed on an iron plate with Ni plating of 100mum thick by thick film method, followed by heat treatment at 950 deg.C, to accomplish a ceramic superconductive base board.
