Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical strength and superconductivity of the substrate of a specific metal and the like by forming the superconducting layer of a specific material thereon via an oxide film. CONSTITUTION:A simplex metal selected from the via group of metal elements such as Cr, Mo and W, or an alloy including said metal is used to constitute a substrate 1 and an oxide film 2 is formed thereon. And the superconducting layer 3 of an oxide system superconductor is laminated via the film 2. The mechanical strength and superconductivity of the superconductor are enhanced without any use of a ceramic substrate having low adhesion strength for the layer 3 and liable to cause the separation and deterioration thereof due to the diffusion of impurities in the substrate during heat treatment, and by applying the constitution wherein the layer 3 is formed via the layer 2 of particulate shape and good insulation quality.
