Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand the effective output range without increasing number of components by connecting a gate of a transistor(TR) at the power supply side of a cascade current source to a connecting point between the cascade current source and a different power supply side cascade current source. CONSTITUTION:A P-channel MOS TR Q1 and a P-channel MOS TR Q2 constitute a common source differential pair. TRs Q4-Q7 constitute an active load and a cascade current source similar to that of TRs Q8-Q11. Gates of the TRs Q4, Q5 are connected to a connecting point of the TRs Q6, Q8 to constitute a differential-unbalanced converter. The TRs Q4, Q5 are biased to the end of a triode region in this way, then the effective output range is expanded without increasing number of components.
