Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled superconducting material having high transition temperature and large critical current density, by hydrolyzing and calcining a liquid consisting of a liquid or dispersion containing IIa group element, IIIa group element and copper and containing element of part thereof as a specific metal alkoxide and containing the remainder as a metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:A liquid consisting of a homogeneous solution, dispersion or suspension containing one or more elements selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, one or more elements selected from Sc, Y and lanthanoids and Cu, containing element of at least part thereof as metal alkoxides having CN<->, X<-> (X is halogen) and (or) amine and containing the remainder as a metal alkoxide is prepared. Then water is added thereto to hydrolyze two kind of metal alkoxides and the resultant mixture is calcined to provide the aimed oxide-based superconducting material.
