Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the homogeneous titled material having high critical temperature, large critical current density and narrow transition temperature range, by hydrolyzing the liquid obtained by dissolving and dispersing one or more kind of elements in prescribed three kind of elements of Mg, Y and Cu, etc., as metal alkoxides in a solvent and then calcining a mixture obtained by dissolving and dispersing the residual element as water soluble inorganic material to the hydrolysis liquid. CONSTITUTION:At least part of one or more kind of element in three kinds of element of (A) one or more elements selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba among the group IIa elements of the periodic table, (B) one or more elements selected from Sc, Y and lanthanoids among the group IIIa elements and (C) Cu is uni formly dissolved as a metal alkoxide in a solvent. Then the residual element is dissolved, dispersed or suspended as water soluble inorganic material in the hydrolyzed liquid and the resultant mixture is calcined at 800-1,000 deg.C for >=2hr to provide the aimed oxide-based superconducting material.
