Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having large critical current density, high critical temperature and narrow transition temperature range, by calcining a mixture of a hydrolyzed product of acetylacetonatos of one or more metal elements in specific three type metal elements and carboxylic acid salt of the residual metal element. CONSTITUTION:Acetylacetonatos of one or more type metal elements in three type metal elements of (A) one or more kind of elements selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, Y and lanthanoids among the group IIa elements of the periodic table, (B) one or more kind of elements selected from Sc, Y and lanthanoids among the group IIIa elements and (C) Cu are dissolved, dispersed or suspended in a solvent such as methanol and >=0.01mol.% alkali based on the acetylacetonatos is added thereto to hydrolyze the mixture liquid. Then the resultant hydrolysis product is mixed with carboxylic acid salt (e.g. stearic acid salt) of the residual type metal element and as necessary the mixture is sufficiently cleaned with water or water-containing solvent, dried and calcined at 800-1,000 deg.C for >=2hr to provide the aimed oxide-based superconducting material.
