Abstract

PURPOSE:To regenerate energy efficiently, by putting anode reactors in the regenerative loop of a snubber power regenerating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The inverter main-circuit of a voltage type inverter consists of the series circuit of self-arc-suppressing type elements 12, 22, and to the circuit, a diode 11 in counter parallel with it is connected, and a snubber circuit consisting of snubber diodes 13, 23 and snubber capacitors 14, 24 is connected. In this case, in a space between the self-arc-suppressing type elements 12, 22, anode reactors 15, 25 are inserted in series into respective arms. Besides, to the secondary side of a transformer 3, the DC bus line of a DC power source 2 is connected via a current limiter 5 and a reverse-current suppressing diode 4. Then, a power regenerating loop is formed, and the storage charge of the snubber capacitors 14, 24 and the storage energy of the anode reactors 15, 25 are to be regenerated within the same loop and by the same transformer 3, resulting in simplification of an apparatus.
