Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body superior in electrophotographic characteristics and good in durability by incorporating a specified compound in a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by forming on the conductive supporting body the photosensitive layer containing at least one of the compounds represented by formula I in which each of R1-R4 is alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, allyl, or vinyl group. Such a photosensitive layer can be formed by coating the supporting body with a coating solution containing this compound together with a polymerizable film-forming material and a solvent, and forming a film, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be superior in electrophotographic characteristics and good in durability.
