Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable free arrangement of a converted image in a frame to be written in by providing a circuit which fills the right and left sides of a conversion line with white pixels or cuts the periphery of the conversion line. CONSTITUTION:When a fixed length of white pixels are inserted before the head pixels of a conversion line, a control part 2 sets a signal 18 to 'high' with a signal 17 set to 'low', and sets a white mask signal 19 to 'high'. After this, the control part writes a fixed length of white pixels from the head into an image memory 11 without reading data from a line buffer 9. Then the control part 2 sets the signal 17 to 'high' and the signal 19 to 'low', and writes a converted image from a top address of data in the line buffer 9 into an image memory 11 from an address at that time of the above signal setting. In the meantime, when a fixed length of pixels are omitted, the control part 2 sets the signal 17 to 'high' while maintaining the signal 18 to 'low' and sets the signal 19 to 'low', and omits a fixed length of pixels without writing image data into the image memory 11.
