CONSTITUTION:The mixed paste of carbon fluoride and metal cadmium is coated on the surface of a paste type electrode to form a negative electrode plate. Carbon fluoride has the water repellency and concurrently assists the gas absorbing reaction of the metal cadmium, the electrochemical gas absorbing reaction occurs on the surface of carbon fluoride, and the oxygen gas absorbing reaction at the time of charging is accelerated. As a result, the inner pressure in a battery can at the time of charging can be reduced, and the quick charging performance is improved.
