Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the connection easily feeding a current of 10<3>A/cm<2> or higher by forming a metal electrode terminal with silver, gold, platinum, palladium, or their alloy, coating the paste or powder made of silver, gold, palladium, or their alloy on the connection face of the metal electrode terminal and an oxide superconductor, and applying the heat treatment in the oxygen atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A metal electrode terminal made of silver, gold, platinum, palladium, or their alloy is provided on the surface of an oxide superconductor, the paste or power made of silver, gold, palladium or their alloy is coated on the connection surface of the above metal and the oxide superconductor, the heat treatment is applied in the oxygen atmosphere at 950 deg.C or below, preferably 300-900 deg.C, thus the metal electrode terminal and the oxide superconductor are firmly connected. A current with the current density of 1000A/cm<2> or higher practically required can be thereby fed easily to the oxide superconductor with the high superconductivity transition temperature equal to or higher than the liquefied nitrogen temperature.
