Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide good superplastic characteristics and corrosion resistance to the titled alloy by specifying the Al content in the Zn-Al alloy. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of the superplasticity alloy is formed with, by weight, >40-65% Al and the balance consisting substantially of Zn. One or more kinds among <=2% C, <=0.3% Mg, <=0.5% Si, <=1% Mn and <=1% Ni are furthermore incorporated into said alloy to easily express the superplasticity. By this method, the alloy which combines excellent superplastic characteristics and corrosion resistance and has excellent diffusion bonding characteristics can be provided.
