Abstract
A dispersion strengthened mechanically alloyed Al-Cu-
Mg alloy is provided characterised by a combination of high
tensile yield strength in the transverse direction, superior
resistance to stress corrosion cracking at high strength, good
fracture toughness and good ductility.
