Abstract
Alloy having stable properties at elevated temps., suitable for constructions used at 250-500 degrees C, is produced by melting an alloy of Al with at least one of the metals Cu, Mg, Fe, ni, Cr, Zr, Co, V, W and Ti; atomising the melt by means of a nitrogen-oxygen jet, grinding the resulting powder with an oil in a ball mill under nitrogen, and hot pressing to the desired shape. The alloy contains 2-20% of an oxide phase(s).
