Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a curved tube contg. high C and high Si and having high creep strength and carburizing resistance by subjecting the centrifugal cast tube made of high strength and heat-resistant cast steel to an aging treatment in the specific temp. range and thereafter subjecting it to high temp. bending in the specific temp. range. CONSTITUTION:The centrifugal cast tube made of high strength and heat- resistant cast steel having the compsn. consisting of, by weight, 0.30-0.75% C, <=2.5% Si, <=2.0% Mn, 15.0-30.0% Cr, 20.0-40.0% Ni, <=3.0% Mo and the balance Fe or furthermore to which one more kinds among 0.5-2.0% W, 0.10-1.50% Nb and 0.05-1.00% Ti are added is used. Said cast tube is subjected to the aging treatment at 700-1100 deg.C to deposite secondary carbide as the obstacle of dislocation movement. Said cast tube is thereafter subjected to the high frequency bending or die bending at 550-1100 deg.C. By this method, even the material in which cracks are generated in each compsn. and compsn. range as well under various bending conditions can be bended.
