Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the joining property and joining strength of metal or alloy strips by sticking a metal or alloy strip to be joined on which a laminated film of Ag and Cu is formed fast to the other metal or alloy strip to be joined and heating these strips at the temperature above a resonance point of an Ag-Cu alloy and below a melting point of Ag. As necessary, the laminated metal or alloy strips to be joined of Ag-Cu are heated at the prescribed temperature and Cu is diffused to the strips to be joined to improve the adhesion thereof. Afterward, joining parts of both the strips to be joined are stuck fast to each other and heated at the temperature above the resonance point of the Ag-Cu composition alloy and below the melting point of Ag and the laminated film is molten to join the strips to be joined to each other.
