Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance of a joining part and to reduce man-hours by arranging insert materials made of specific weight % B and Si alloys respectively between materials to be joined and heating joints to the prescribed temperature to diffuse B and Si in the materials to be joined. CONSTITUTION:The insert materials 2 are formed of a Co or Co base alloy consisting of, by weight, the 1-8% B and 1-20% Si alloys. The insert materials 2 are arranged between the materials 1 and 1 to be joined and the whole of the joint parts is heated and maintained at the temperature above the melting point of the insert materials 2 and below the melting point of the materials 1 and 1 to be joined. At this time, the insert materials 2 are molten to join the materials 1 and 1 to be joined and B and S1 elements are diffused in the materials 1 and 1 to be joined. The joining part becomes homogeneous with the materials 1 and 1 to be joined by diffusion of the B and Si and the heat resistance of the joining part is improved. Since the operating method is simplified, the man-hours for joining are reduced.
